I was thinking about why I posted this after the negativity and you are right, I just needed to make myself believe it. It is really a pointless post except for myself and anyone else who just needs to believe. The haters will always hate anyway.
Yeah I loved both, I heard that Moore didn't like the movie, but I thought it was pretty close to the book, especially considering the butchery of most comic to movie titles.

A couple other good graphic novels are the Preacher series by Ennis, Lone Wolf and Cub series (possible the best story ever), and Peter David Hulk, its when he's in las vegas and wears the gangster outfit.
I just don't know why everyone loves the watchmen so much. Its much too sappy and longwinded for me.
That might have been the dumbest comic of all time. If you want to see ridiculous lifetime drama with unbelievable characters I suggest watching Days of Our Lives. I mean the characters are retired! Go get From Hell or V for Vendetta
