Near or Far

It looks like a Pro Set Near, but a goaline version.  If the RB were lined up on the weak side, it would be Far.

Should be John Morton as WR

Should be John Morton as WR coach.

Norvell

I'd like to second this suggestion.  ASU just promoted him to Deputy Head Coach, whatever that means.

They don't have a draft pick

They don't have a draft pick in that loaded draft unless it is in the top 8.  Otherwise it goes to Charlotte.  And if they're picking in the top 8, Dumars is fired.  So you're basically saying he should quit his job.

Not Cheap

I don't think he'll come cheap, which is the reason I don't think he'll come at all.  He made $7 million last year with Avangard and nobody in the NHL is going to pay nearly that.  Maybe he wants back in so bad he'll take alot less money, but I doubt it.  He can make alot more by staying in Europe.

Edit:  And just after posting, I read an article that lends more credence to the possiblility.  Apparently, Jagr only wants to stay in Russia if it is with Avangard, and they may not want to pony up.  Also, Detroit is one of the 4 teams contacted by his north american agent.

As has been said, the As has been said, the draft will happen regardless. The draft is at the end of June and the league year doesn't end until July 1st. The players would not get paid by the teams, but they could sign endorsements. That's probably not a big windfall for Morris, but for the guys at the top, they can definitely get paid. One interesting side note, if the league gets what it wants and changes the age limit to 2 years out of high school, next year's draft will be awful and a guy like Morris could move way, way up.
