Don't see it as a wildcat but thinking that maybe Belicheck finally gets through to Tebow that he has zero future as a QB and if he wants to be a good teammate to switch positions which will help his team win |

Lots of good beer stores (and most Whole Foods) these days sell beer in bombers (22 oz) if not individual 12 oz bottles. To the extent you can, I would go that direction. Since you don't know his tastes in beer you don't want to get a sixer or 12 pack of something he doesn't like. This way You can also get your dad a flight (one of each style of beer they offer)of one or two brewers. Really shows off the range of beer styles and who knows, your dad might find out he likes a new style if beer he wouldn't normally have ordered. |

In NY/NJ, hero or sub are interchangeable. Stil have no idea why some places in CT call it a "grinder" and in Westchester County, NY they call it a "wedge" |

I would have liked to see a few others including: - lollipops vs. suckers - standing on line vs. in line - grilling vs. barbecuing (i.e., what is it called when you have people over to cook burgers outside). Would love to see where the dividing line falls for the vocal barbecue nuts who have a cow when you call grilling, barbecuing

If im not mistaken, There is something that allows them to do that. I think Manny Ramirez was suspended when they found a prescription for some prohibited female hormone. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | I still can't believe people |
I still can't believe people keep bringing this up. It has absolutely zero to do with following, fan bases, etc. and has to do solely with location. If Rutgers was located 60 miles west into Pennsylvania, they would never have been invited to the Big Ten. By being located in the largest media market in the country, they "offered" the Big Ten millions of subscribers on basic cable. And if you think UConn football has any following, you are kidding yourself. Rutgers may not be a huge football program but they have a much bigger following and much more success than Uconn football. |
| 4 weeks 1 day ago | Not sure why one low |
Not sure why one low appraisal would make you think you can't sell your house. If you had three offers at the ask the first weekend it was offered, its obviously priced right. The only thing a low appraisal would do is limit the amount of the mortgage that the borrower would be able to get. If they can't pony up the difference in cash, they can either shop around for a different lender, you can reach out to the other two who made an offer and tell them the first accepted offer fell through or try to be creative with the original person. Does your contract with the buyer have a mortgage contingency? In NY those are standard, but not sure how the rest of the country is |
| 8 weeks 1 day ago | This!!! Its a brilliant |
This!!! Its a brilliant move by Brandon. Without the pesky seat numbers holding you back, they'll be able to sell more tickets for the same section and bank on either jamming them all in or hope people don't show.
Or go the airline route and offer to get them an extra ticket to the next game if they take a voluntary bump to the next game. |
| 9 weeks 3 hours ago | They also need to work on the |
They also need to work on the replay issue. There should be no replay to put 0.2 seconds back on the clock, this goes double when the team losing has zero timeouts and this gives them a defacto time out. Its gotten so ridiculous |
| 9 weeks 4 hours ago | Less time outs should be item |
Less time outs should be item number one on the agenda. No reason each team should have a bakers dozen (or what seems to be that many). I also thought one of the announcers during a game propose to not let coaches call a time out immediately after a basket. If they don't take away some time outs, I like that change. Regarding making the correct calls, they need to hammer home the right/wrong call on everything from charge/block to hand checks to when a shooter can draw a foul by jumping into a guy who is clearingly on the side. You shouldn't be able to draw a foul on a guy that isn't in front of you. I also hate the lack of calls when defenders plow into guys after they release their 3s. If you are hit by a jumping defender, even if you released the ball, you should get a foul called. Also, moving/illegals picks are not called nearly as much as my eyes would seem to indicate their are being used.

| 9 weeks 1 day ago | So their football program |
So their football program pays a fairly large amount of money to a suspect recruiting service which does not deliver the required quarterly reports and has a "mentoring" relationship with several high school players that signed to play at Oregon and that isn't a lack of institutional controls? If an institution can't determine what tangible benefit they got from spending $25,000 for a recruiting service that is run by a mentor to a number of significant recruits, what the hell would qualify as a lack of control? |

Yes those evil corporations and their cabal of rich arrogant CEOs probably sitting in a room smoking cigars trying to figure out how to capitalize off every tragedy. I bet their meeting room is like Buffalo Wild Wings and they used the arena janitor to move the floor right at the moment Ware was in the air so they could have the perfect marketing opportunity. Vile bastards. |
