Harbaugh went 4-8 in his first season at Stanford in 2007, with wins over their rivals #2 USC and California, breaking a 5-year losing streak against both USC and Cal, a 36-game USC winning streak at home, and dashing USC's national title hopes. The USC game was considered to be a bigger upset than App State. If Michigan went 4-8 with wins over OSU and MSU, I think most people will be quite satisfied.

Yes, Austin is still an awesome place. In fact, out of all the places I've lived in (Ann Arbor, Portland, Santa Clara, Seattle) it's still my favorite. The drawbacks you listed are indeed correct. Traffic is terrible and you'll probably want to start and end work at more unusual times in order to avoid rush hour. If you don't want or can't do this, then I suggest living on the same side of the river (Lady Bird "Lake") as your job. The weather in the summer can be terrible and sometimes breaks even 110F in the summer.
However, everything else is truly awesome. Real estate is currently still cheap (but quickly rising), the city is liberal and quirky and accepting of everyone, the music scene is terrific, the food is multi-cultural with terrific Texan BBQ, every season other than the summer is great, Texas has no state income tax, Google Fiber is coming soon, and it's quickly becoming one of the leading tech hubs in the US. Best of all, there's a major Michigan alum presence with plenty of places to watch Michigan football and basketball. Go Blue!

Well, technically he's correct. If the same thing happened to us with OSU, then we'd be furious and the board would be melting down. It's just hilarious for us since it's Michigan State.

Where's Terry Richardson? He's completely missing from the depth chart. Did something happen with him?
|2 years 4 weeks ago||Even if he has not explicitly||
Even if he has not explicitly deterred anyone from seeking actual medical help, it's reasonable to assume that this is exactly what people have been doing. When's the last time you've simultaneously tried two different cures for your illness? People generally try one cure first and wait until it's obvious that the cure isn't working before trying something else. Meanwhile, your infection gets worse, your chopped toe becomes gangrenous, your completely curable pancreatic cancer passes the point of no return (a la Steve Jobs), etc.

Um, science gets to determine what is and isn't rational. Children die from minor and completely curable diseases due to their faith healer parents deciding to not treat them using medicine and just praying instead.
Don't believe me? Just do a Google search and see for yourself:

I don't think you realize just how dangerous faith healing is. Children literally die from this based on their parents' beliefs.

|3 years 12 weeks ago||No, if you did something bad||
No, if you did something bad it would be your employer who gets sued. This is because you don't have millions of dollars, but your employer does. They would sue your employer for poor workplace environment, lack of employee training, etc.
Here's an example: if you get hit by a truck, your family can sue the trucking company for millions of dollars in damages if the trucker is an employee of the company.

Kaplan has a list of 40 or so words that commonly appear on the GRE. For me, at least two of the words appeared (it's been a while so I'm not sure about the details). Be sure to learn those 40 words, it's probably one of the best bang-for-your-buck areas to cover. Also, to get this list, you can find it through Google's book project for free. They scanned the book and you can search for the list in the book.

Hilarious, the "slippery slope" argument. If you've never discriminated on any basis as you so claimed, then signing it should be a trivial matter.
In 1975, the federal government said that Hillsdale had to sign a form stating that we did not discriminate on the basis of sex. Hillsdale College had never discriminated on any basis, and had never accepted federal taxpayer subsidies of any sort, so the College felt no obligation to comply, fearing that doing so would open the door to additional federal mandates and control.
I'm going to UT for grad school. I think getting WVU is great (assuming that the best course of action is for the Big 12 to survive). The Big 12 has horrible academics overall: now that A&M has left, the only good school left in the conference is UT. The Big 12 has generally been UT, OU, and everyone else (although Oklahoma State is currently surging), WVU would probably be a high-tier team within the conference. The only downside is that it's far away, but I think that the upside far outweighs the downside.
