I think it is interesting to

I think it is interesting to see Cowherd put in this position. I mean he's not a fan of loyalty, or tribalism. He's the sort of guy who backs "winners." His guiding principle seems to be "pro-success." To hear him say he "likes" anything means that it is successful. So now his principle is tested because Harbaugh is successful and just did this to him. It made me laugh to hear him say repeatedly at the end, "I love you to death!" and "I love you!"

There's no way of explaining

There's no way of explaining that without admitting that Harbaugh doesn't like Cowherd. He didn't even try to humor him. The questions were friendly questions for the most part.

That was just unbelievable.

That was just unbelievable. Harbaugh treated CC like a hostile attorney. That's a classic.

CC said it was the worst interview in 25 years.

painful!

Wow, this is a painful interview. Jim Harbaugh is giving him nothing.

Rudock?

Who's watched the film on Rudock? I'm not convinced. In the two games I watched it seems that he's a bit slow, with below average arm, and was heavily reliant on rolling out and dumping off to TE's (read: Iowa). I'd love to see Morris win this job.

+1 to your analysis (except

still seems to be enough there to raise an eyebrow or two for a baseball guy with no expectations of even playing football

The title of the NBC article

The title of the NBC article gets me: "Three Ohio State players’ careers lost to injury" - no blame assigned here, no reference to roster problems. And then the disengenous "Depth is an issue for us right now on the back end" from Kerry Coombs, as if OSU has trouble keeping the roster full of DBs.

here it is

I was waiting for this

Thank you for posting. I rely on this annual reminder via mgoblog.

Done

My wife just voted, though she is unware of the contest.

Receiver time?

Did Gardner's time at receiver help him in reading defenses? Can any sort of mathletics or comparables produce 'knowledge' with regard to this question?

(No subject)

"You're OK, aren't ya?"

Creepy, yes. It's like they pulled a psych prof to do interviews. The players get interviewed and a bit of clarity on their own psyche.

Thank you kind sir

This sort of post is why I'm a mgoblog reader. Fantastic stuff as always Brian. As I was reading I'm shuffling around trying to think of whom I could share this with and realized that very few people I know combine a love for logic, statistics and Michigan football. The world is a better place because of mgoblog. Thank you kind sir.

For those looking for location help

For those looking for location help see D-Magazine's location map. My wife and I lived in Dallas for the last two years so I'll offer a few comments.

Uptown is a sure thing, but perhaps pricey.

Deep Ellum is a bit of a mixed back, but seems to be trying to make a comeback.

Park Cities is a neighborhood with money.

Addison has most restaurants per capita, but won't have the downtown feel.

Stay north of downtown if possible.

And may I also recommend Fort Worth, especially Sundance Square, quieter than Uptown, but a nice place.

Also be careful saying, "I'll stay near x place." Things can change quickly from street to street in Dallas.

Bolden

The next play he was second to the ball and the next he had a TFL but Marshall slipped the tackle. His nose for the ball looks impressive.

Now it's: Michigan loses 2

Now it's: Michigan loses 2 QBs in win

So now "loses" means something like "gets a bit nicked up"
