Why is the guy in the MSU shirt posing like Touchdown Jesus from South Bend? Was "hang on sloopy" playing on his Walkman? Was he going for a rivals trifecta?

Didn't Holcomb and Langton earn medals in both the two- and four-man bobsled competitions at Sochi?

wants guys who are 100% committed to their NFL careers. It's the reason they question guys who spend an extra year in college after they've been projected as 1st round picks.
Sad, but true.

Are you, in fact, a Lakers and Cowboys fan as well a Yankee fan? I'm thinking no, because then you'd probably be an Alabama football and Duke basketball fan.

Back in 1972, a ping pong match between an American team and a Chinese team from the People's Republic was played at Crisler Arena. This was big news, the US and the PRC had had very little contact since 1945. Sadly, the match was very one sided; those Chinese could Pong.

but then, I don't speak Cronilogic.
But seriously, should the order be based on the date of the defeat to a team wearing Maize and Blue? Or on the ascention of the coach to the ESPN announcing pedestal?

was Michigan Basketball coach while I was a student. I had the honor of driving his teams on campus buses to/from the airport (actually both DTW and Willow Run). Coach Orr was a class act and his teams always travelled in an efficient, business-like manner. It was good to catch a glimpse of him during the game at ISU early in the season.

It's so easy to think of our most recent image of people and forget that at one time that the older gentleman with a heart condition was once the best athlete in his high school, or that the career football coach and Big Ten head coach was once a sophomore trying to fit in on his high school team.
Definately a cool story, and sorry for your loss.
