Guys can make it to the NFL from anywhere...just because CMU got lucky and developed a player into a first overall pick (who has had a lackluster NFL career) doesn't mean a thing. If you can play, the NFL will find you!

Not sure if anyone caught this but Greg Mattison said a few years ago that he wants "8 or less missed tackles a game"...given that Morgan had 7 alone and the team had 28, this is bad on Mattisonian terms!
Overtime itself is not random or 50/50 but it is subject to variation in outcomes that are not representative of a full games' play in that over the course of a game the better team all things being equal should win most of the time...in OT just like in the playoffs a small sample size of posessions is not necessarily representative of a team's play as a whole.
I don't see him getting too much playing time but he might pinch hit in a couple games and play in a few...higher rated prospects than him seem to have the left field platoon taken care of with Byrd gone.
PSU fans want this game to happen...they want to have a true rival outside of the B1G just like everyone else...If I had to liken it to Michigan, it would be playing ND.
Mike Mayock, probably one of the more savy and experienced draft evaluators in my opinion, thinks very highly of Jeremy! Great to see what we know is true be confirmed by an expert! At a minute in!

If Gardner does have an injury, it seems a lot like it was quiet when Denard was nursing the injury in 2011 (I believe?) and it was affecting his play. Tough guys both of them and kudos to them for working through it despite everything else.
And Alabama's secondary got torched & exposed today against a good Texas A&M offense...So yeah? There aren't many players that can start as true freshmen and play at a high level and Alabama recruits players at that high level. Michigan will get some of those players (like Peppers and Hand) but it won't come without growing pains like today.
Ohio...No one more so! Especially with their usually low strength of schedule, I would like nothing more to see them lose to one of the multitude of Ohio schools they schedule every year.

And Kiel already transferred...Tommy Rees is the man once again? I'm fine with that! Just goes to show that anything can happen and sticking it out isn't necessarily a bad thing! Kiel could have been ND's starting QB and decided pastures were greener elsewhere.
Bengals have some good ones but depth is an issue. AJ Green, Andrew Hawkins, along with Mohammad Sanu & Marvin Jones. Plus, Tyler Eifert will more times than not split out at WR. If Roy can make an impression though, he could enter the mix!
Just an example of how a team's talent when they play together can be larger than the sum of its parts! Clearly, that describes us in the eyes of NFL talent evaluators.
