While our depth is perilously thin, if you’re 5 and 6 on the Michigan depth chart, you’re getting maybe 5 targets over the course of the season and everyone above you still has multiple years of eligibility left.
I’d love a tall grad transfer to round out this group for this year but I see a lot of potential for this WR room down the road.
I know Seth is on the Mason Graham for Heisman train, but if Grant is the goal-line back and racks up a bunch of TDs, voters might prefer him to Graham.

I think Craig's opposition to the buyout is ideological: the buyout is a restraint on the employee's ability to move jobs and Craig has always been a pro-employee guy. I don't think he's wrong in principle, but buyouts in coaches contracts are ubiquitous so I don't quite understand why thought it wrong for Michigan to want to include one in the contract.
Also, I must have misunderstood Craig because it seemed to me he was saying that Michigan was trying to put the immunity clause in the contract when I thought that was Harbaugh's doing (Jim wanted immunity from being fired for cause if the NCAA or Big10 suspends him more for past infractions.)

If JJ leaves, I would absolutely want to replace his with Kyle McCord so we can go down to Columbus and beat OSU. He’s also a pretty good QB especially if his ability to throw under pressure in the Michigan game is real rather than a flash in the pan.
Also, it seems Brian is saying Tuttle has a year of eligibility left. Why wouldn’t he stay and be our stopgap if JJ leaves?
My favorite Rickey story is when he went up to his teammate John Olerud when the As were in the field and said to him, “Rickey used to play with another play who wore his batting helmet while playing 1B” and Olerud replied saying “Yes, Rickey, that was also me.”

I was ambivalent about whether to fire Warde or not but his refusal to use an Oxford comma has put me firmly into “Fire” camp.
