There is no way in hell one of these threads will end well. For many reasons...

But I bet this thread ends well.

Davis left the year before. But I feel my point remains the same.
But Cal is an excellent recruiter and gets NBA talent left and right, there is no doubt. My point is that he can depend on that talent to win games rather doing some great coaching with player development. I feel like Bo is in the same boat as Beilein, and I bet most people here would pick Beilein as coach over Cal.
|26 weeks 2 days ago||I do when you consider context||
In college, both coaches have similar overall records, but I honestly beleive Bo's resume is more impressive. Bo has been able to make it to the tournament every year as head coach at Wisconsin, and he has done it with okay talent. Cal missed the tournament with Anthony Davis on his team. Simply put, Bo has done a ton more with less.
Sam Dekker is his highest ranked recruit ever and outside of this tournament, he has only been a solid role player. Bo has won consistently with unknown guys and a clean program while Cal could depend on John Wall, Derick Rose, Marcus Camby, etc. to win and still have controversy follow him wherever he goes.
|26 weeks 2 days ago||Exactly!||
Cal has accomplished so much more. He even has more school sanctions and vacated Final Fours than Ryan! Bo obviously needs to get his shit together before being considered for the Hall.

Many key players will probably be gone, and as we at MGoBlog know, the pool of coaching candidates is very limited. I hear Jim Mora is available!
I'm kidding of course...
But not really...

But the team as a whole has underperformed too often under Fox, and that was the problem. Peyton did not call his best game from his quasi-OC position, but he shouldn't be blamed for the line failing to block, receivers dropping thows, and the defense missing tackles and failing to get off the field. That just shows how the team is unprepared, which starts at the Head Coach.
|38 weeks 1 day ago||True, it's not all on Fox||
and Peyton does have his flaws, but the Broncos have been embarrassed too many times considering all of the talent they have.
Having a mediocre Colts team dominate you? That shows a lack of preparedness and simply being outcoached. The Super Bowl demolishing was of the same nature. Peyton was bad, but not 43-8 bad. And being beat by the Ravens at home in the 2012 playoffs also shows not only how Fox consistently gets outcoached, but is also way too conservative. That game should have never gone to OT.
|38 weeks 1 day ago||You didn't...||
But believe me, every Denver fan did. He was too conservative all the time, and teams have been consistently unprepared for big games. Very frustrating.
