Defense It could be a good alternative to the constant screaming, esp when red hat (damn tv timeout man) won't leave the field. Something simple and effective, like this could get the no fly zone going... http://www.fanchants.com/football-songs/ipswich_town-chants/get-em-fck-…
Tractor Boys for Life I was born in Suffolk (AF brat) so I've always been a fan of Ipswich Town. While they currently are fighting off relegation from the Championship thanks to Mr. Roy Keane getting them off to a piss start, they used to be quite good. As for EPL, I really like what O'Neill has done with Aston Villa. They're a pretty young pacy team with lots of upcoming English players, and great to use in FIFA 10.
Table Dancing Perkins used to break something everyday to demonstrate some dynamic principle. The best was when he stood on a table to show coordinate systems and ended up cracking it. Good choice.
Pete I never had him for class, but as the Wilson center head he was awesome. I remember him asking to help me an a team mate with a cf layup just so he could learn what we do and see what we need for facilities. That man has transformed that place from an inconvenience to one of the best places on campus to do engineering. One of the best people at UM
JimmyD and Me That class was great. I would always make note of it in interviews and talk about seeing the bigger picture and use some paper or one of the few lectures attended to make points. I liked how they would make an effort to put everything online so you didn't have to show up at 8am. Def one of the best classes as far as input and result.
ME420 I remember having 70% of the class in GGBrown computer lab or 3rd floor Dude at 4am any day within a week of a project being due. SO much of that class was the blind leading the blind, but you make some good friends during times like that. I remember a grad student bringing in like $40 worth of McDonalds breakfast for everyone after an extended session for the final project. A lot of work but ended up with an rare (for me) A.
My advice to you: Get good at My advice to you: Get good at data reduction in Matlab. You'll get out of writing most of the report as you "crunch data", and your team will look to you as a sort of data wizard. It'll also help you later in 495 or in your acutal job.
UConn v. Pitt I was at the Pitt game the other night and was happy to see Pitt getting plenty of looks behind the arc. I'm no basketball expert so I can't offer much more analysis but UConn just didn't look cohesive and didn't really get into the game until the 4th quarter. The fans seem to just have accepted that this is going to be an off year for the team. I like our chances at Crisler.
Chants Anyone else hear the USA! USA! chants during one of his earlier corners? It brought tears to my eyes...
