What percentage of Tigers fans spend money (and how much) outside of Comerica on gameday. Most are probably spending $10-20 on parking, but I'd like to know how many go to tha bar or to eat downtown before and/or after the game. It's probably more than I think because there after definitely a few bars that are only in business due to game traffic but my sense is a significant portion of the Tigers' crowd drives in and out and that's it, especially on weeknights. Plus, I feel like most of the parking lots are owned by one or two companies. My personal experience is usually driving in and out and I even know of a free parking spot, so if I do spend money outside of the stadium it's like $1 for cajun peanuts.

That someone who needs a service dog wouldn't have it marked as one. I know many people who use them and if the dog isn't marked people will either try to pet it or prevent the owner from bringing it into places. And even when the dog is marked people will still try to pet the dogs.

I feel like it started in and around the 1997 title run, as I was a student then, and I don't remember it prior to that.

That sounds a lot like Notre Dame singing their alma mater in front of their student section. Plus, the team already sings The Victors in the locker room after wins.

Gibson had the TV gig with Josh Lewin before Rod & Mario took over. It always seemed like Gibson hated the gig but that could've been becuase broadcasting those Tigers teams was a miserable experience. My favorite Gibson in-the-booth moment, however, was an interleague game between the Tigers and Cardinals which featured Tony LaRussa making multiple trips out to the mound one inning to both change pitchers and protest a call with the umps. The inning is strething on and on and at one point LaRussa starts walking off the field only to immediately double-back to the ump and this puts Gibson over the edge. He shouts over-the-air, "LaRussa, get off the field!" Lewin loses it cracking up laughing.

|4 weeks 3 days ago||My favorite story from that Super Bowl||
Is the one Tom told in the "Brady 6" documentary. Belichick has Brady and Bledsoe in the sideline huddle before the final drive. Belichick says something to the effect of "if the pass isn't there, don't force it. Throw it away." Brady said Blesoe leaned in his ear and said, "Fuck that, let it rip!"
The other great Bedsoe moment I remember from that playoff run is when Brady injured his knee in the AFC Championship and Bledsoe came in to relieve Brady. At one point Bledsoe took a huge hit throwing a TD pass and afterward there was a shot of him on the sideline getting his chin bandaged up. Bledsoe was kicked back on the bench with a huge self-satisfied grin on his face. After the game Belichick was asked who was going to start the SB and of course he says they're going to go with Brady.

Losing Mallett hurt way more than I thought it would at the time especially if you look now at what Rodriguez has done with the players he inherited at Arizona. Rodriguez lucked out with having Ka'deem Carey already there and promptly turned him into the one of the nation's leading rushers, but absent a Pat White/ Denard Robinson running QB, he's thrown the ball a lot more there than he did here. Mallett was a head case and made a lot of dumb mistakes in his limited opportunities here and it worked out for him to transfer to Arkansas when he did, but I think the 2008 offense performs much better with Mallett than Threet/Sheridan.

you were in high school at the time - but college kids now grew up with Harry Potter. For someone my age it would be the equivalent of there being a Star Wars movie with the original cast coming out every other year of the 80s.

Plus, with recruits they probably know or assume this staff is at dead-man-walking-stage, which may not be the case with your prospective buyers. So unless the recruit really wants to be at Michigan for the sake of being at Michigan, both parties are going through the charade of the recruiting process.
