no passing game, it makes it pretty easy for the defense to just stack the box and stuff the run. WRs can't catch, and the O Line continues to be the o line. don't they work on this shit in practice? it sure as hell doesn't look like it.....
and there are 10 other guys on the field with O'Korn. we have WRs who haven't figured out how to get open in the college game and who can't seem to catch the ball when it hits their hands. the right side of the O line is a disaster. it feels like the pro style playbook is above what the offense can do right now, but i don't see many adjustments being made to it by the coaching staff. the only bright spot is that Higdon has shown what he can do, and i hope the OC exploits that. if Peters is the answer, he'd be in. but he's not. our reality, like it or not, is what we've seen these past few weeks - we have the number 1 defense in the country and no offense to match it. there is no magic pill to fix this.

given the state of the O line (which seems to be a never-ending fucking curse), horrific play calling from drevno, and peters' lack of command in the huddle, you need to rethink your logic.
if drevno had any semblence of a game plan that was capable of moving the ball down the field, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
it was like watching a Hoke-Borges offense again. OL was a sieve on the right side. stupid play calling. horribly out coached by the troll from East Lansing. i know it's year 3, but jeebus.....
while this was gut wrenching in every way imaginable - fucking refs, meyer channelling his inner cheerleader, etc. - it's only year 2 of Harbaugh. he has 1 year of his recruits on campus and a helluva class coming in for 2017. this program is farther ahead than i thought it would be by now. keep in mind how long we were a program in search of an identity after Carr. we will be fine.

He's had plenty of opportunities over the past 10 days or so to shoot the rumors down. He hasn't. Silence can sometimes speak loudly.......

i predict that the team will need to execute better and the coaches need to do a better job coaching.......i fear indiana. we lose to them, stick a fork in it. season over.
all those four and five stars on the field, yet there is NO ONE on the sidelines who knows what to do with them. trying not to think of what could be if we had real coaches instead of cartoon characters clapping on the sidelines.....
i'm not panicking. i'm meh. that was 2013 all over again without borges. torched secondary, no push from the d line, and an o line and running game that still sputters. nothing to get excited about here.
it's pretty clear the Hoke regime has run its course; at least it's clear to everyone save Brandon. i would think that with the talent we have - gotta give Brady his due as his staff can recruit - someone would jump at the chance to come here. our problem is one of coaching, not a lack/depth of talent. we've been able to convince 4 & 5 star kids to buy in on a regular basis, given our shitty record. we just can't develop the talent we have. thinking outside of the box is paramount for this program. all the names mentioned in other threads to come here will probably never happen. but someone had the smarts to find and hire the Kevin Sumlins and Chris Petersons when they were not "made" men. why in hell can't we?
also, the phrase "Michigan Man" must never be spoken again. we got one and look where we're at.....
