Totally agree. Hope the big guys stay. Matthews, Livers and the old crew should have a good run next year. As for today, FOOTBALL is back! Hooray!

The accepted false positive rate for an appendectomy is 20%. Meaning it's ok to open someone up and NOT find appendicitis in 80% of patients. Why? Because it's so damn lethal when it does burst (and an appendectomy is typically a pretty easy surgery with little downside). Lucky kid.

This is going back almost 20 years but I lived in the Med Center Court Apartments. The apartment was $800/month and was a large 1 bedroom about 800 sq ft. Easy walk to he school and plenty of parking. Lots of friends with dogs there.

Unfortunately no. If you go to a CBS sports broadcast on your xfinity app it will tell you that CBS does not allow streaming of its content. This is true for live TV content. In order to see it live you need to subscribe to the CBS app.

They are short. Man, are they short. Tallest dude is 6'9"? So... Duncan is 6'9". Who is going to close out on him on 3's? Man, with DJ comfortable guarding a 4 on the arc, I don't see these guys getting near their average on 3PA.

IIRC Spike "retired" from ball last year and JB offered him a grad assistant position. In the late winter/spring is doctors cleared him to play again. At that point he really didn't have a spot in the team and he was given waivers to leave.

When your career is dependent upon a website/blog, does it not make sense to invest in that blog? Get a business line of credit, invest in a reworking of the site, improve the advertising ppc's, and pay off the LOC. As an comp engineering grad myself, I know they don't teach you much about business on North Campus. But as a small business owner myself, the money you don't put into your core business will inevitably lead to lost revenue. It's rare that you ever get to a point in business where investing money seems totally "safe." It'll always make you feel nervous spilling out $50k when you aren't sure on the return. But hell, that's why you set up as an LLC in the first place!

Totally agree. The HD app was great. I couldn't post a new topic on it, but could reply and the video/content was so much easier to load/read/etc. On an iPhone, the iOS basic app is the pretty much the lamest app on my phone. It's slow, crashes constantly, and never posts my replies.

Ann Arbor's dining scene is like taking a prerequisite in eating prior to living in a big city. I came from Birmingham before A2 and have to agree with Seth about HH. Of course, "fine dining" for my parents was Peabody's in B'ham.
My time in A2 was '93-02 (two degrees... not Animal House). I live in FL now, so these are a mish-mash of the good ole days and football travel weekends.
Hmmm - Drunk food means 1 thing: Backroom pizza or Pancheros. The El Gordo chorizo burrito was something you could only really order while drunk. And there was a 50/50 shot it would end up on the sidewalk on the way home.
Fancy-Ass dinner place - The Earle. That place was always great. I really like the wine bar place on Main street - Vineology
BBQ - There really weren't any, but in the day it was hard to beat Grizzly Peaks ribs. However, GP has gone down hill in a big way from the 90's.
Midrange for Parents - Red Hawk. Simple, good.
Asian - JC's on South U. Coffee Break was pretty good when it was around. Obviously, I'm Korean centric. My last visit to A2 included a trip to Tomukun Korean BBQ. Awesome.
Cheap Eats - The old diner near main street. I don't remember the name but it was in a trailer. Also, having spent 2 years at West Quad - Blimpy Burger. Flat out the bomb.
