What does Ian Bunting have to do with this?

Found this a few minutes ago
8 Years

The $132 million number actually covers 8 years, so it is more like 16.5 per year. Still a lot, but worth every penny. There aren't many players who are THAT much better than anyone else in their position group. Plus, a few years into his contract, that number won't sound nearly as large.

they would be perfect They would be perfect if they made the collars and sleeve cuffs half maize, like the early 2000s road jerseys
27

Detroit's offensive line gave up 27 sacks last year, which was sixth in the league. Not only that, but they did so while attempting the third highest amount of passes. People definitely exaggerate about how bad the offensive line is. Rob Sims was a big help last year.

Another factor

Another factor is which skill level you play on. I wish they had one that was just realistic, where a more talented player will play better, but if you play on Heisman, even your 95 OL will get run over by a defensive lineman in the 80s quite often.

When you simulate games, I am pretty sure it just uses the ratings straight up, so a 95 offensive lineman will dominate a much lower defensive lineman.

The same guys...

The same guys that held all of those guys to a whopping 3 points last year?

Since it was on another page... Hopefully this gives us an idea of how it will look on field. Photobucket
PS Mockup Here is my attempt at a quick Photoshop mockup of our beloved quarterback sporting the night game jerseys. Maybe it will make us all feel a little better? At least when the players wear them, there should be less stripes since they wear much shorter sleeves. Photobucket
I just recently discovered

I just recently discovered XV, and I am glad I did. For being little known, and quite young, he has a TON of music out there. That alone obviously doesn't make him good, but if you like meaningful rap like Lupe Fiasco, I would suggest checking out some of his stuff. Lupe is great as well. Another guy I have been listening to a ton of is Blu. He is so much different than any other rapper I have heard.

And he missed another one in

And he missed another one in OT. Gotta feel bad for the kid.

Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick is the QB for Nevada, and one of the better dual threat quarterbacks in the country. Vai Taua is his running back, who is also solid.

Their

Their getting they're. There turnovers are what is holding them back.

Not to mention

A Space Emperor sighting.

And it is a good thing you do

They say jaywalking is the gateway crime.

Kickoff

Can he kick the ball between the sidelines?

I am hoping so too

I am hoping so too. From what I can tell on the new homes, there is no seam in that shape (On the current ones, you still see the shape of that stripe, it is just navy like the rest), so that is why I got rid of it in this mock-up. I am hoping that will be the case.

My guess on the away uniforms:
Cousins

Cousins was on Jim Rome's radio show yesterday, and Rome asked him about Denard. He had nothing but good things to say about him, even saying that Denard doesn't get the credit he deserves for his passing. By Spartan standards, he seemed like a good guy.

OMG MAIZE JERSEYS!

Nice job for your first one.

Haha!

Even your avatar realizes that this is funny.

You are going to love this place

You are going to love this place.

Am I the only one?

Am I the only one who immediately saw this as sarcasm? (Not sure whether it is or not, but that is how I saw it)

Patrick Peterson

Patrick Peterson (LSU CB) just struck the pose after a punt return for a touchdown.

1. Isn't it way too early for that (Plus it was planned, which is far less awesome than Denard's natural pose)

2. Who does he think he is?

You forgot the /s tag

Wait, that was sarcasm, right?...

You spelled...

You spelled Dee Hart wrong.

Or....

Or Andy Bernard.

Not to mention Jacksons

I seem to recall one named Marlin not too long ago...

What kind?

Football played with winged helmets, football played with numbered helmets, or football played with helmets that have logos on them?

If you are really thinking logically

If you are really thinking logically though, you would realize we had an injured Tate, and a Denard that wasn't really ready yet. Completely different situation this year. Also, UConn is better than Western or Eastern Michigan, and the ND win was on the road this year.

Trees and Sunsets

Trees and sunsets aren't even in the neighborhood of boobs and college football.

I believe

I believe he was referring to his username, rather than taking a personal shot.

Barely a Sophomore

Denard just played his first game as a sophomore. He has almost 3 full seasons left at Michigan. How exactly is that not long-term? I think everyone was thinking long-term with Denard, which is why we are so excited he showed this much improvement so early.

Floyd

I will take my team trying to stop Floyd over my team trying to stop Denard any day.

So happy for Denard

It is great to see Denard have such an amazing first start as a Wolverine. He seems to be a great kid, so you have to love seeing him get his shot at QB (which is all he wanted coming in) and make the most of it.

You forgot Denard.

You forgot Denard.

Nothing says Ganksta like...

Nothing says Ganksta like a nice painting. What are the dimensions?

If she is expecting the Lions...

If she is expecting the Lions, she will be pleasantly surprised, and become a diehard Wolverine from this day on!

Let's Go Blue!

Let's Go Blue!

Didn't you hear?

He found a grey hair.

Yeah

TomVH had an update this morning, and the visit is 99.9% going to happen.

Rich Rod

Hasn't Rich said something similar? Of course, at this point, it seems Denard will be the starting QB, but didn't RR say even if he wasn't, he would find the field elsewhere?

Blue Drank

I don't know if it is the same, but the blue drank I know of is made of Sugar, Water, and Blue.

RVB

...And the "No Homo" quote of the day goes to Ryan Van Bergen:

"I like having Mike inside me"

Denard

You do realize Denard fumbled his first snap in the Big House as well, right? I am not saying DG won't redshirt, or that he is as good as Denard at this point, I was just pointing that out.

Maybe...

Maybe this was filmed a couple days ago, and Tate took Renaldo's "Get out of here, dawg" comment literally?

Umm.....

Why would you post a picture of Jimmy Clausen and Charlie Weis in this thread? And who is the third guy in the front?

Bama

Alabama will probably do something with the houndstooth pattern associated with Bear Bryant. They used a houndstooth collar for one game a few years ago. There is also speculation they will use a white helmet, which they used at one time.

MSU

No, he only hates MSU. It is just that his accuracy is on par with Reggie Ball.

DeAndre Brown

Maybe a better example would be DeAndre Brown of Southern Miss. He broke his leg in their bowl game two seasons ago, and was fine to start the next season. I don't think he was fine in six weeks, but he was at least able to recover and keep playing football.
