Secs 10-13 emphatically seconded. Those sections are right near the hockey band and the student section, which are highlights of the Yost experience.
I usually sit low to medium in those sections and they're great views. Aside from the obstructed views 98xj noted I don't think there're too many bad seats in Yost.
IMHO Yost is the best UM sporting experience. Football is iconic, basketball is fun, but the energy of the band and the student section plus the fact that there're minimal/no commercial breaks make Yost hard to beat.
Jeebus, 13 years already? Congrats Brian, Seth, Ace and everyone else who's put in the hard work here. This site has definitely made the last 13 seasons more bearable.

I'm part of a bar trivia team that used to try to hit RR trivia. But we'd routinely make reservations and then get there to find every table full and our reservation simply gone.
Complaining was useless--it was always packed for trivia so they didn't care. The indifferent waitstaff usually let us stand around for 45 mins before we were seated. This happened 3 or 4 times before we got the hint.
That was a few years ago, but I also agree with you 100%. The food was overpriced and aggressively average.
In a one-stoplight town RR would be fine. In the gastro-paradise of A2/Ypsi it really isn't even worth mentioning.
It was a night game, in a hostile place like Kinnick that (as Brian and Ace attested to) still gets up even when the team is 5-4. The one other time they were tested on the road, @ MSU, they won but played tighter than they probably should have.
It's been a helluva encouraging season so far. But still a few mental hurdles to overcome.
Am I seeing it right? Zone read, but Higdon runs BEHIND Peppers, completely blows the play (doesn't seem like a "Harbaugh!" thing), Rutgers doesn't bite and chases Peppers...and catch him 63 yards later.

My roommate and I watched it last fall. The acting's great, music and atmosphere is solid, and the scene-to-scene writing was good. My roommate's a software engineer and confirmed the show did a decent job meeting the minimum requirement for coherent tech jargon, not an easy thing for pop entertainment.
But he and I both called numerous plot points before they happened. And some of the disparate plotlines seemed to strain to tie together. For me at least that's what kept it from being a truly excellent show. But it's definitely worth a watch.

Went to Nawlins for Mardi Gras 4 or 5 years ago and wore my michigan hat. Had a busker in a Dick van Dyke a la Mary Poppins musical getup with banjo in hand and a bass drum & cymbals on his back stop dead in whatever song he was doing and launch into the Victors as I walked by. That was pretty cool.
If Michigan football is indeed a religion and Saturday's the holy day of obligation, then you gentlemen are doing the lord's work. And sweet baby jesus you do it well.

That's exactly how I stumbled into my craft beer craze. It's a gateway beer. A lot of quote "experienced" drinkers (unquote) move beyond it, but I think most still enjoy the occasional one on a hot summer day. I definitely do.
From my reading, it sounds like it was their lack of cooperation that doomed them:
