I haven't been to a Michigan game since Penn State 98. I went to MSU-Penn State today, sat in the South End zone under the f****n speakers, which I swear are the same ones the psy war guys blasted at Manuel Noriega during the Panama War.
The piped in music sounds like shit. It gives college football the feel of arena football. Welcome to the jungle, Ring of fire, la de da. It's so damn loud the marching band sounds ridiculous cause your ears are numb.
I was hoping that Michigan hadn't gone this route, cause I was thinking about going back if the remodeling removed the feel of a Cincinnati Who concert waiting to happen. Too bad.
Oh, Penn State brought a pep band. They played Seven Nation Army.
