The Anthropomorphic Wolverine

I saw this segment the other night on Real Sports.

It was late, and I didn't trust my eyes.  Also, I was too scared to rewind the DVR to find out for sure.  Seeing it now is even a little frightening.

Not that it's important...but why is it royal blue, and what is that shirt-thingy it's wearing?

Is it wrong if I admit...

...that I too came across the Sex and the City movie on HBO last night, and - like Brian - could not turn it off because it was such garbage?  The only thing I learned - after much internal debate - is that Sarah Jessica Parker is, indeed, an ugly, ugly woman.

Luckily a friend showed up, drunk, and snapped me out of it.

Go Blue!

Disclaimer:  I'm a Michigan fan, and love tripping up ND for a 2nd straight year.  HOWEVA...

The officials were from the Big Ten Conference.  It was mentioned near the beginning of the game on the television broadcast.

Tom Hammond

"He's just so... eager."

The "Fear/Paranoia Level" and

The "Fear/Paranoia Level" and "Desperate Need to Win Level" slay me, without fail, every single week.

"+1 for Aigh The Combination Of The Two!"

Also, I would have had no problem with Brian had he seriously ended the "Pass Defense vs. Notre Dame" section after the all-caps laughter.  The use of all-caps doesn't signal nervous giggles.  Instead, it signals (to me) confident, doom-stricken belly laughs.

But...Dilithium shall prevail!

This explains why...

...it seemed like there was very little flow to ND's offense last Saturday.  Had to watch their game alongside the M game, and it was hard not to take a peek at what the Irish and Purdue were doing.

Ugly game, really.  Not much flow to either teams' offenses...but I suppose that's to be expected.  I was particularly unimpressed with Purdue's offense.  Also, as AAL noted, Purdue didn't do much of anything on defense until they were "forced" into taking some chances.

Great analysis, AAL.  I hope you can do this each week!
