I think Hans Landa from…

I think Hans Landa from Inglorious Bastards is absolutely genius. Funny, witty, and absolutely controls that movie.

Sugar Bowl 2011

I'm pretty sure the Sugar Bowl was essentially decided on an iffy catch by VT called incomplete incorrectly by the officials.

shit you're right

Coming from a current undergrad student:

It would be a huge bonus to not be at the same school as my parent.

Getting Yedlin Back is Huge

I think Yedlin is going to fill one of those vacancies, keeping Besler in the lineup and pushing Fabian Johnson to the midfield pushing Zardes up top. From there, I think Beckerman gets the nod as a holding center mid, and Zusi replaces Bedoya.

I don't really love any of these moves, but I really don't think Nagbe or Pulisic or really anybody else could compete with Argentina, and while Zusi and Beckerman are steps back from Jones and Bedoya, they have legitimate International experience and did play well in the World Cup. Zardes has been playing well and moving him up top to get him more on the ball action could prove to be the move.

Damn

One of my good buddies, who's committed to Penn right now, was offered a PWO spot at Michigan (he's a QB). So I guess that spots taken then.

Blessing in disguise?

Maybe this loss motivates HARBAUGH to stick around for a little longer /s

Most Valuable Player on this team

On a team with a below-average offense and the best defense in the country, having someone who can flip the field is absoutely necessary. As we saw with the 80 yard punt, he can literally turn offense inadequacy into a great opportunity for a safety.

New Canaan High School

New Canaan High School

Great football program....

...in Connecticut. We've lost like 3 games in 3 years and have won 3 straight state and league championships. A few buddies of mine are D1 prospects (one with SEC offers), and a couple others are Ivy/NESCAC level. Unfortunately most kids don't play football in college but lacrosse and our football success is mostly attributed to the athleticism of our lacrosse players (top 20 school in the country).

Ask him.

See what he wants to do.

Don't forget IU

Yogi, Blackmon, and Thomas Bryant will be a competant and effective trio, even with the devil at the helm.

I know...

I know that this is unlikely and probably not necessary thanks to our depth.... but we do have an open scholarship for next year and this kid is talented (not that he wouldn't be better suited to get better over the course of his senior year), so is it even possible if he were to reclassify and join the good guys this season?

As a current High School student...

The best thing you can do is be supportive and not meddle. At least personally, I'm a self-motivated person, I mean, I want to do well in school, and that's enough for me to work hard. I get the sense that if you kid got As and Bs in middle school, then he too is bright enough to want to do well. Unfortunately, theres not a whole lot you can do as a parent, it's just something that your kid has to figure out himself. Either way, freshman grades don't count for shit so tell him not to freak out.

The hiring at least got TJ to

The hiring at least got TJ to visit. I think the final impact remains to be seen, but the fact that the kid came to see a school that isn't in his named top 5 (3?) this close to signing day is huge. Anyway, this hire will at least earn us a visit.

Bennie Oosterban

Was a coach.

Luke Del Rio

Can he come with Alabama QB Luke Del Rio?

Dirk Koetter

No clue if we have any cahnce at him or if he is at all interested but he is the Falcon's OC and had a ton of success at Boise in the early 2000s and decent success at Arizona State before moving to the NFL. If not, then Harold Goodwinn, the Cardinals OC, Michigan Alum, brother of Jonathan Goodwin.

Honestly, I think we are all

Honestly, I think we are all underestimating Notre Dame. This team is GOOD. Talented, full of five stars, with a stud of a quarterback. This team, IMO, has serious playoff potential. With the shit show that is going on in Columbus right now, it appears that Ohio State is in a similar situation against a worse team. The rest of the B1G proved today that they really are nothing to be worried about. I see a good chance to beat both Penn State and Ohio State, leaving a plethora of very below average teams left to play as well as Michigan State, whom we will most definitely lose to. Hey, I'll take 10-2 with one B1G loss any day. There definitely are some positives to take away from today (not necessarily in the ND game). We got a lot to work on but there's a chance we can overcome this.

Well...

I hate making decisions on the basis on a single saturday, but honestly the only good showing was Michigan State (remember their on the road) and I'm honestly embarassed by the entirety of the league. The midwest just doesn't have the talent/speed as the rest of the country any more, and that was proven by the Notre Dame game today, as well as the Ohio State game.

Slap in the fucking face.

Slap in the fucking face. This is the most disrespectful thing Notre Dame could've done. It does make me wonder if DB actually wants to play them again though. But also I have a theory that a deal between UM and ND has been agreed to but won't be announced until well after this saturday to maintain the 'importance' of the 'last' game of this rivalry.

Oakland Colliseum

Was one of the nastiest places I've been to see a baseball game. 0/10 would not do again

Braden

Hoke had talked about Braden doing very well (being the first starter he kind of named). How'd he do specifically?

Derrick Walton

I didn't see Derrick miss once and his handling looks improved too. Overall, the kid looks like a stud who can reallly contribute this year. The one thing that concerned me was that in the scrimmage type part, seemingly every play ended in a bailout three.

Deveon, Gedeon and, Strib

Deveon is a faster Derrick Green, it'll show this year.

Gedeon is sick and proved that in the Ohio game last year.

Strib saw a ton of playing time last year and should really push for playing time.

Blake the snake

Blake the snake leads the nation in int's and int return yards.
