2 years 26 weeks ago Jamie Potts

Another Michigan baseball commit is a kid named Jamie Potts from Muskegon Oakridge.  The thing about this kid is he is a all everything qb in football at the high school level but it wont translate.  What will translate is his kicking abilities.  I watched him last week kick a 45 yard field goal that would have been good from 57.  Also saw him kick the ball off through the uprights.  Someone needs to make sure this kid kicks at Michigan.  He is on rivals as a unranked duel threat qb.

2 years 31 weeks ago That would have done it

I have no doubt we wouldve broke it if the team would have came to the game

2 years 32 weeks ago How did that go?

Did he mention how he did facing Pat White?  Apparently allowing 40 ppg to those wvu teams didn't exactly win him the head cinci job when dantonio left...

2 years 32 weeks ago Great TV

I have to say I love watching Martinez play but it's not the same as Denard.  He has great speed but he's really been able to rip straight line runs tonight because of the threat of Helu and Burkhead.  Denard will make people miss in space more often, read blocks better, and almost always fall forward.  Also, Denard's receivers are his greatest asset which gives the offense a different look all together.  I wouldn't trade the Dilithium for anybody in the country!

2 years 32 weeks ago None of the above

Heres one vote for "The Rebel Mangino"

2 years 32 weeks ago Well...

Top 10 Reasons:
#1.  Dilithium
#2-10. See #1.

2 years 32 weeks ago Nope it does.

Your way of rating QBs is wrong.  You play to win the game.  Until that changes DRob should top everyone's list.

2 years 32 weeks ago Omg

This week has been as bad as I thought it would be.  I've been just reading up on any and every thread about UMs defense all week.  I need Saturday to get here before I get fired!

2 years 32 weeks ago Urban Meyer

He doesn't want to see an Ohio State-Michigan rematch so he wont vote him higher the 3rd.

2 years 32 weeks ago Great post

This post gives me more hope then any other has.  Forcing a lot of long drives gives more opportunities to get stops or turnovers and we can use as many chances as we can get.  I do hope that as the year continues we can trust our DBs to stop giving such huge cushions and challange them to throw maybe even one deep ball a game.
Also, I can't hardly believe they only scored on 55% and 42% of their possessions respectively.  Watching the game it feels like it's closer to 80% or 90%.  What's left of my remote thought they scored on most of their drives too.

2 years 32 weeks ago Scary

Not sure if I like getting this hopeful this early in the year.  I'll take a win over MSU and a healthy Denard going into Iowa for now.

2 years 32 weeks ago Greater upside

I originally was thinking 8-4 and I still think that is very possible but I'm thinking 9-3 is more likely at this point.  I also think our best case scenario is 12-0 and I would have never said that going into the season.  I just think if we were playing OSU this weekend I would expect a pretty decent game and nobody is better then them on our schedule.  It would take a lot of good bounces and great TO margin but we'll see.  Thats why they play the game.  For now it's great to be 5-0!

2 years 32 weeks ago Vegas hasn't seen our defense

Our home field advantage isn't worth 4 pts.

2 years 32 weeks ago Only threat is injury

Between how much we depend on him and how talented he is only an injury could run him down on his way to the Heisman.  I really believe that.  If we can win eight then he will take home the hardware, and I think we will.  Our defense will make enough plays.  And for the record, when Denard gets to the secondary I usually stand up and yell "GONE!" and signal touchdown.  I've only been wrong once, maybe twice, all year.  Go Blue!

2 years 32 weeks ago UM defense vs MSU Offense

I like the fact that they're more similar to UConn offensively.  Teams like Indiana who are more likely to throw 60 times in a game are very scary.  I guess any team that is trying to score on our defense is scary, but if I had to choose I'd pick a team who's running game out classes their passing game.  Unless they can go Wisconsin on our asses we should see more 3rd downs vs a run heavy offense which gives us chances to get off the field.  We'll see, either way they convert a lot of 3rd downs and a lots of points will be scored.  Also, Denard needs to hit his open receivers on fade routes later in the game when they start to adjust to us marching down the field on them.  Go Blue!

2 years 33 weeks ago 5-0

We could have lost and we didn't.  Everyone needs to get some rest because our O is good enough and our D is bad enough to put us through it  again this weekend vs Sparty.  Just enjoy the win. Go Blue!

2 years 33 weeks ago Everyone wants to see Denard

Between everyone wanting to see Denard and MSU's win over highly ranked Wisky I think gameday should be rolling into Ann Arbor this weekend.  There's enough national intrigue there.

2 years 33 weeks ago Late adjustments were good...

...that being said the idea that they took no deep shots the whole game is very telling that we were giving up way to much underneath.
