Recycling is basically garbage. Were you wearing gloves? I wouldn't want someone wiping their garbage hands on me either. |
| 6 weeks 2 days ago | kickstarter |
How about a kickstarter to get Trey Burke to come back next year. He can have the money when he graduates. |

| 7 weeks 4 days ago | Burke is our point guard, |
Burke is our point guard, it's his job to create shots for his teammates, especially if they can't create their own. Criticizing the other players' inability to create shots is meaningless if you can't stop the point guard from creating shots for them. What a weird interview. |

If only it had gone through more cleanly and snapped the net like MJ's shot against Georgetown... |

| 14 weeks 3 days ago | So many of our drives seem to |
So many of our drives seem to end in blocked shots, because it doesn't look like we go up strong. Maybe it's fear of drawing a charge. We go up, then when the help defender comes, we try to go up and under and end up with an easy shot to block because it's released down low, or we fade away from the basket and end up with a fadeaway jumper rather than a layup attempt. We also don't seem to be very good at dishing the ball in the lane at the end of drives when the help defender leaves his man. It just isn't a strong point for our guards. I'd rather see McGary develop a post game where he can create offensive chances for himself, and create a threat of an inside/outside game to create open looks for the shooters. We take a lot of slightly contested perimeter shots because our guards are good enough to create some space with their ballhandling, but ball movement in terms of crisp passing seems to be lacking overall. |

He means the incapacitated boyfriend of my sister, since he's not doing anything, he may as well look after her while I enjoy life at his expense. |
| 16 weeks 7 hours ago | My instincts tell me the same |
My instincts tell me the same thing. My parenting can't possibly be too many notches above "complete lack of supervision and neglect" so she should be fine. At two years old, she knows there's food in the freezer and that she can get water from the bathtub and its only for one night. It was ice that broke his leg, but I was wishing him nothing but ill will at the time so I may take (non-financial) responsibility. |
| 16 weeks 8 hours ago | My sister and her boyfriend |
My sister and her boyfriend live in Bloomington and are going to the game. Her boyfriend just broke his leg and is in surgery, meaning his ticket has been freed up. If I can find someone to look after my daughter this weekend, I'm going to drive up from Atlanta in the morning.
I doubt that I can pull this off though. |

I see this as pure upside. Within four years, the word "Green" will be synonymous with the University of Michigan, and we'll have taken even that from Sparty. |
| 16 weeks 4 days ago | I guess it just depends on |
I guess it just depends on what you think Michigan's expectations were. I think if we're still #1 after our next 4-5 games, you'd want Beilein in the discussion. |

| 33 weeks 4 days ago | You have to let Miggy defend |
You have to let Miggy defend his homerun crown. Texas is in a dogfight for homefield advantage and division title, so Hamilton is going to be playing. Batting title and RBI title seem safe even if Miggy doesn't hit well. |

| 42 weeks 4 days ago | Article says "Every year |
Article says "Every year since 1985, at least one child of Fay and the late Steve Odeh has been enrolled in the University of Michigan, graduate school, medical school or law school." but then it says the youngest child "begins his final year of law school at Fordham University in New York in August, so the 28th year of kids in college will be the last." Something doesn't seem right about that. If he's been at Fordham for two years, and he is the last of the kids in school, didn't Michigan cease to have an enrolled Odeh sibling 2 years ago? Unless the youngest one transfered (which seems unlikely given the family's affinity for UofM, or unless there is another sibling who just graduated from a Michigan program without being mentioned, the article seems messed up. Anyway, that satisfied my need to waste time. Thanks for posting this. Good thing they don't have a Bump in the family. |
| 45 weeks 4 days ago | Mike Tyson at the airport in |
Mike Tyson at the airport in Atlanta. I was flying to Detroit and he was flying to Vegas. The two gates were next to eachother and he was sitting with 3 large suited up men and one woman who looked like she definitely belonged in Vegas. I sat down opposite him and said "I'm surprised more people aren't bothering you" and he responded "must be my lucky day". That was it. David Justice and Halle Berry at a movie theater in Atlanta. I think my school was closed for a snow day, or I just skipped that day and went to a movie. As I was walking in toward the door through the parking lot, they walked out. I recognized Berry immediately, then realized it was David Justice with her, as they were married at the time. I said "good luck tonight" to Justice referring to the baseball game, and he said "thanks. Nichole Kidman at Rathbun's Steak (restaurant in Atlanta). Same as before, I basically just said hello and she acknowledged. I hardly have anything to say to people I know, coming up with something interesting to say to strangers is just not in the cards for me. Oh well. |
