The only time that I was able to get in, besides games, is after basketball games. You just have to leave through the western gates of Crisler. I imagine that getting in now would be twice as difficult due to construction. I'm not sayin' that you shouldn't try, I'm just sayin'.
for Nick Sheridan. He played pretty well, seemed to play within the offense and did so effectively.
In think that this is more along the lines of what type of performance we can expect from Sheridan this year. His stats? 18 of 30 for 206 (6.8 YPA) 1 TD 0 INT and 8 rush for 33 yards (4.1 avg) There's nothing world class about those numbers but it's likely that it won't be on the QB if the offense stalls on the scale that it did last year. Even walk-on QBs have to get better in year two, right? I am aware that this could actually be his ceiling.
If you can excuse my faux pas in logic then just realize that me being an outsider to this topic of discussion seemed to call for some generalization of the students. Sorry if I offended you at all, especially with my apparent failure to add a little humor to the post. How about a more formulated response:
The negatives of being a "Michigan Man", from this outsiders perspective, are that these members associate themselves with, not only a sexist term, but one that implies that an elitist culture exists at such a great university. A culture that certain alumnus appear proud to be a part of yet oblivious to it's often pretentious interpretation.

I find it interesting that ESPN is not allowing this story to be reported by any of its affiliates.
Detroit radio recalled a similar scenario today when ESPN didn't report that Brett Farve supposedly helped the Lions game plan for the Packers last season. On that occasion they cited conflicting reports and that they believed that accusation to be false. There is no reason cited that this story isn't being released.
Why? Is it because it's not a criminal complaint? ESPN too worried about rubbing elbows with athletes?

As a life long soccer player I always wore Adidas and because of that I developed some brand loyalty. Adidas always had the best and tightest fit, which is what you wanted out of a soccer shoe. You wanted them to feel like gloves on your feet in order to get a better 'feel' on the ball when you strike it. It was always ok to go a size up because, not only were they wider, you wanted to have some play in front of the toe for the extra socks that you wear (in the cold at least). I have noticed that even the cross trainers and basketball shoes tend to be pretty thin, and I have narrow feet as well.
Whether or not this causes injury is up for debate, but it is true about their shoes. Maybe Neuheisel is unaware of the whole 'half sizes' thingy.
And no, no name change for potatoes. Adidas is German
because I want it to be louder when the other team has the ball but the chances that the music will be something that I'll enjoy are slim. Then you start doing sound effects and bring in an organ player, t-shirt cannons and thundersticks are next and before you know it's The Final Countdown and fire juggling clowns.
I expect that at pro games but not at UM football games, call me old school.
good speaker system. I would also be very surprised if they made music a regular part of the games. If they did the folks living in the adjacent neighborhood would probably have about enough of that.
It was a similar issue this last summer with the proposed lane closure for stadium construction. The people were already complaining about the noise so the lane issue was just another jab. Start playing loud music and that will get axed much quicker than Tom Goss' Halo.
Either you want Michigan stadium to be a louder, more active venue (and hope that they end up choosing 'the right way to do it', whatever that is)
or
you stfu and just sit there next to the alumni because you got shushed due to your excessive loudness, which may or may not have been because of those last couple shots of snakebite before hand (true story).
It seems you just can't win.
