My first exposure to Bleacher Report was in 2010 when a "UM Expert" broke down what he expected to be the depth chart for the upcoming season. He lost me when he suggested Karl Tech would be a starting linebacker. Now, I struggle to believe that most of you even know who Karl Tech is- I certainly didn't until I read that article- it's because he was a walk on. With 0 career tackles.

I'm not defending him, but there have been a lot of incredibly successful people who have done stupider stuff than getting in a strip club fight. I don't think it's fair to extrapolate that he wouldn't have done anything just because he let the emotions get the best of him and peddled drugs

For them that's interested, I'm currently working on getting all of the Every Snap Videos from this past football season up on my dailymotion account. I'm through UConn so far..

Alabama has had 3 CBs taken in the first round since 2010, as well as other DBs like HaHa that could passably play CB if pressed. They also have 5* CBs Minkah Fitzpatrick, Tony Brown and Marlon Humphrey signed/committed in 2014/2015. I think we've got a ways to go before we start calling ourselves "DB U".

I was told that this isn't true, more the case of a kid 'hoping' Michigan wants him.

Although I couldn't disagree with you more vehemently, you did remind me to revisit his MySpace page, which I can't thank you enough for.

Josh says Hilliard is visiting (which, he is), not that he's the surprise visitor.

I mean, how many of our commitments do you think picked us due to the education, support system? They may all say that, but I'm willing to bet a strong majority hit a good party scene when they visited, liked how big the stadium is, liked the gear we showed them, etc.
Having been involved in college recruiting before, I can tell you that A TON of kids who pick their school did it for reasons their parents wouldn't approve of, no matter how they justify it. I just think we finally have a situation where the mom has called him out for it, but I certainly think he's no exception

EDIT: Holy shit guess we all knew that one
|29 weeks 1 day ago||What do you mean by||
What do you mean by 'everytthing going on'? This is all a product of his parents not letting him go where he wants and him sticking to his guns, something I'm sure most of us can relate to from our adolescence (just without the media attention).

Yeah, but IIRC correctly it was like a 2-day schwing, and I don't think it was his normal chaos mechanics stuff. Or maybe it was and it just wasn't as effective
|32 weeks 4 days ago||I don't know about Clarkson,||
I don't know about Clarkson, but I definitely think Gardner could use a solid week going through Whitfield's 'chaos mechanics' drilling. If he can train Gardner to react to the blitz in some way OTHER than looping back to the right, I think it's a win.

Likely also helpful to Gardner; Not being a stray hit away from being a triple amputee

....Relying on the BTN2Go (or whatever it's Rokue equivalent would hypothetically be) is setting yourself up for frustration. I spent about a year putting up with its shit (stream cutting out, arbitrarily switching me over to another game, shitty interface) before I realized watching the game on a pixelated online stream was a better choice.

If you think this is the first time I'm wrong, you're not paying close enough attention.
|33 weeks 1 hour ago||A couple of things||
1) I posted this yesterday in this thread, so if mods want to take this thread down go ahead. That said, I'm glad you enjoyed it, mgobaran
2) I sort of did this as a throwaway while I was doing JBB's highlights, but when Ferns said on twitter that he thought it was funny, I kept it up. I wasn't intending to make fun of his injury, and I wouldn't have kept it up without his blessing.
3) PLEASE DONT TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS THE ANNOUNCERS AREN'T IMPORTANT. I got a couple people complaining about that, so don't say I didn't tell you so.

I think he's saying down the line. As in, Nuss does good things here, moves on to a lesser HC role, then eventually comes back to be HC after Hoke leaves.
|33 weeks 2 hours ago||Good Point||
From John Infante's blog
Note that midyear enrollees still cannot sign National Letters of Intent (except for junior college transfers). So the impact may be limited if coaches are unwilling to sign a prospect to a financial aid agreement that locks the university in to providing a scholarship but does nothing to commit the prospect to the university.
Since none of the players were really recruited heavily by Borges and the scheme won't be that different, I'm still inclined to believe that EEs weren't really a consideration, but I guess you never know.
|33 weeks 2 hours ago||Nobody (at least, not in my||
Nobody (at least, not in my experience) really does exclusively zone or man. Michigan did both this year, and as Brian mentions in his post, Nuss does both now. While he may lean more on the zone running plays, he mentions that power O will still be prevalent in short yardage situations.
|33 weeks 2 hours ago||Re:Recruiting||
Yeah, Alabam la-dee-da, but he was supposedly heavily involved in bringing in these 2 classes for Washington in 2010/2011. They aren't, like, mind boggling classes, but they do feature nabbing Austin Sefarian Jenkins from Texas in a time where Texas didn't offer but, like, 3 people out of state, and getting Kasen Williams from Notre Dame.

I don't think the timing had anything to do with the EEs. Though they just recently enrolled, they signed their papers back in October
