Sure their overall record is similar, but their “big game” record way exceeds us. Auburn and LSU have both won titles in the last ten years and beaten juggernaut Alabama. I’d take a championship paired with 2 losing seasons over finishing 3rd place consistently any day.
Louisville not so much, but they are a much smaller school.
I think you are selling Shaw a bit short. Yeah Harbaugh built it, but the dude won a Rose Bowl and finished #3 in the country in his fifth season as head coach. This season (his 9th) was really his first significant step back.
How will this work in terms of coaching staff size though? We've lost 3 (Mcelwain, Washington, Mattison), but hired 4 (Gattis, Campanile, Nua, McDaniels.)
Unless I guess McDaniels was never made the permanent WR coach?
IDK, how were we really hurt this year by losing to them? Had we beaten OSU and B1G, we still would have gone to the playoffs. Overall, I don't think our bowl destination or overall season outcome would have been strikingly different if we had beaten Arkansas rather than lost to ND.
I honestly don't have a good reason why, I just don't like using safari/chrome/whatever on my phone. I know it's irrational, but it's just a dumb preference. The experience is better when in a standalone app. Seems like a lot of people I talk to are on the same page.
Could make the same argument that using mobile sites is just as good for a lot of things (news sites, facebook, whatever.) People just like apps more.
It does depend on where you live. At least in metro-detroit you get all the major networks, but I do know some cities I have been to sometimes have one of the major providers missing (it automatically switches you to the local channels depending on where you are.)
ESPN, B10 Network, FS1, and all of that are standard for all subscribers.
I'm fortunate enough to live in an area where we have a lot of choices for internet, so every year I call and ask for a continuation of the promo rate, or if they don't, i just switch to a different provider. Since it is only a modem they have to swap, it's not too painful and doesn't take very long, but i've only had to do that once in the last 4 years.
Right now I've got xfinity internet and pay about $40/month. So that + YT, it's about $75 total.
I've used YouTubeTV for about a year now and have been very happy with it. A lot cheaper than what I was paying for cable before, and I can easily cast to any TV in my house now without having to run any wires or anything.
I had tried the free trial of Hulu Live prior to that and couldn't stand the buffering. No issues with that on Youtube.
From what I hear PS Vue is about just as good, so I guess it just depends on your preference.
I haven't really had any issue missing games or anything like that, so I don't think it's something you need to be too concerned about.
I went there last summer, and it was not at all the same as it was when I was in school (2011ish.) Way more expensive and different vibe than it was back then.
We've got a group of recent alums that go to a random game during the UM bye week the last few years. Typically try to get there Thursday night to give us some time to hang out on campus/at the locals bars and what not Friday.
Been to Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia so far. This year is Ole Miss @ Bama.
In no way am I saying it would happen, but there have been plenty of players who have walked right out of high school/college and had an immediate impact in the NBA. It's a 5 on 5 game, so individuals can make a huge difference. Add in the fact that these Kentucky guys have been playing together all season and have chemistry (it's not just a random assortment of all-stars.)
Football on the other hand...not a shot. Size of the lines alone would make a world of difference.
A huge number of WWE fans these days are kids. Although there would be plenty of rednecks to worry about, a very large portion would be dads and their 5-12 year olds.
I have not done it on that particular vehicle, but I have on other GM v6s. It is not the most difficult job, but can be annoying. Use a big pair of channel locks to grab on to the tensioner and hold it in the loose position, then try to slide the belt off of one of the accessories. I dont know how worn your belt is, but you should be safe driving it to and from the store. The only thing you risk is losing power steering, air con, alternator, etc. Good luck.
What exactly are the rules on selling beer with college athletics?
I don't think it is just NCAA events because they sell beer at the Joe when we play hockey there (at least at the CCHA tourny), but then they did not sell any at the frozen four.
I can't check now because I am at work, but I am pretty sure the big ten only had 1 five star last year in william gholston at msu according to rivals.
This is probably the most truthfull comment I have seen on the mgoboard in months. To think LSU fans wanted Miles gone when he won them a national championship THREE years ago.
As bad as our defense has been this year, our O has been outstanding as they are leading the big ten in scoring in ppg. Because of this I really don't want to revert back to a pro style.
My top two guys are:
Chris Peterson at Boise
Kyle Whittingham at Utah
Both run the spread O and have had great defenses.
Too bad RR cannot just become our offensive coordinator.....

True on Bo. But Gary Moeller was a buckeye.

Hiring an outsider failed once with rich rod. So it will fail every time?
I mean we’ve hired two insiders in a row that have failed....

So it basically ends up being McDaniels or Pep. Ugh.

Now get me…
Haha very true.
Now get me my danged avocado toast!

He removed the jumpman logo from the jerseys. That UA sponsorship - lol
What's Bob's connection to ND?
It's not totally unreasonable. And if there was an alternative reason, he would have thought of a better excuse to use publically.
I think this is more of a joke along the lines of "my flag football team would beat our real team" than an actual insult.

Oakland off this week. It makes too much sense.
I'm really confused when people say the all whites look like LSU. How do these look at all alike?
I've seen this comment several times.

You know people would write paragraphs if not limited. And paragraphs aren't cool.
Oh right let's keep Brandon since he improved wifi!
*Sorry I'm a bottle of fireball deep
How did you forget the most compelling reason to hire the Zook? The dude's hair is among the Pete Carrolls and Mike Babcocks of the world.
Give him some kind of authoriy position just to do this.
In all fairness, I still plan on attending every game. I just think it will be cheaper to stub hub them in the long run.
Any mention of Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, or South Central Louisiana State will add to this.

or waffle fries.
I got student tickets and am in lower bowl.
He was only entered in 3 of the 17 races on the schedule this year, yet still won the Indy 500. Big loss to Indy Racing.
Suh donated all of them....funny thing is they are never allowed to leave the lockers.
I'm for 'em. This club is formed.
I like the bare minimum too....they should have just forgotten the seats and left the concrete. THAT would have been unique.
God that would be awesome.....except if there's wind....

Do schools hosting just get to choose?
Since they have beaten us in football or basketball.

Likely won't happen as your cannot receive a football scholarship at another big ten school.
And the big house.

They changed it a few years back:

The only time the student section was collectively booing was when we did not use any of our timeouts at the end of the first half.
There may have been some, but they are not real Michigan fans.
Kill the Buckeyes.
No, because I'll support and cheer for whoever is coaching Michigan football because they are the head coach.
We could hire Charles Rogers to be our next coach and I would hope we won every game.
Jermaine Gonzales would have owned.
edit: OMG and I think at the same time.

That's nothing, if you were any good you would do a projected 2012 starting line up from 2008 point of view.
