So who pays Jim Delany's So who pays Jim Delany's salary? Who is he trying to make money for? After some quick Googling, it seems JD makes around $3 mil a year, and the major source of that is ESPN and Fox Sports supplying the B1G with just over $400 million per year. Should we just trust the sports networks to value fair play and ethics over profits?
I agree big John. 2 questions I agree big John. 2 questions I'd like answers to are 1. Did the refs intentionally give OSU a big advantage or was it just poor biased refereeing? 2. Was it just a coincidence that 2 refs are openly OSU fans or were they selected for that reason? Rather than argue what the answers are, an investigation here seems like a real good idea. (Or are all the "investigators" too busy with more important things like excessive stretching and deflated footballs.)
A nice post. Thanks. Felt A nice post. Thanks. Felt good reading it.
A better question

A better question might be how would your confidence have suffered if Akron didn't screw up at the end of the game and not punch the ball into the endzone.  The Horror II.  (Maybe III).  Or if the Indiana quarterback didn't hurt his hand and ruin their possible comeback.

Congrats!!

Congratulations zatsyuk!!  That's an awesome accomplishment just to get accepted to the Engineering school.  With your drive and intelligence you're sure to be successful.

Thanks!

Thanks Engin77!  This was the first message board post in my life so I appreciate the encouragement.  Been reading the stuff for a couple of years, thought it was time to join the fun.

Overrated?

Overrated?  Who the heck said my comment was overrated?  It was, by the way, the very first comment I've ever posted on a message board (and one of the funniest on this post, if I do say so myself)  - just to get slammed down.  Tough world.

I agree

I agree.  I think they look really good, apart from the fact that they aren't the true school colors

Also, I could say something about people in "glass Big Houses", i.e. Sparty's alternative unis look way better than our's in the ND game.

makes sense

They look sharp - love the shoes.  They're not the school colors, but since Sparty doesn't follow any other rules, no big deal.  Cheat on the field, play convicts, do lots of drugs, say "zero tolerance" then say "the kid deserves a chance" - might as well make up new school colors.
