Seriously, after witnessing the atrocity of last season, how can anyone not have seen this coming. I honestly do wish Borges well; still, the decision does give me new hope for 2014.
I am all for free speech, that is, when it is utilized responsibly, be it in agreement with or dissention of another’s opinion but not when it is used to harass someone or simply trolling with flame bate all the while hiding behind relative anonymity.
As fans we may never know the entire story for his departure and, to be honest, we likely don't need to. I, along with many others, hate to see anyone verbally commit only to change their mind at a later date. Still whether alum, booster, or merely a fan no one will be impacted more by the decision than Tony himself. Consequently, I wish him nothing but the best. Hopefully, he will find a program at another university that will allow him to play football if he so desires while enjoying the university/college experience and, more importantly, continues to obtain an education.
Well if Allen can play anything for Brady Hoke like his father did in the mid 80's for Bo Schembechler will be ecstatic. Yet, regardless of what position he ultimately plays, I for one am pleased to see any second generation players want to represent the maize and blue like those before them.
It's good to see just how quickly Hoke and company could improve upon Michigan's lackluster in state recruiting ability of recent history. I understand Michigan hasn't even played a game since ousting the previous regime but I can't help but feel that the worse is already behind us.
