I think you are correct about the "driver" in the front seat. Probably near the end of my lifetime or sometime after it, but it's mostly a pleasant though for future generations.

As someone who is legally blind, I will open this can of worms. I don't hold a current license in my state to drive. I can see in front of me but my peripheral vision is not there (6 degrees of central vision left). I fancy that this would be an option for me, but realize that in certain situations this might actually require you to be able to drive and carry a valid license.
I open this to the board knowing that your honesty will be valued, and I won't be butthurt if you give me your honest opinion. Throw PC out the window, what do you think about this car in an application that applies to me?

Five years from now (maybe sooner) we will know whether these camps/under radar recruits were a stroke of mad genius or just a filling of the roster. I'm with the guy above that "in Harbaugh I trust."

I think this means that you hate recruiting - but I could be wrong.

Eh. Probably not the worst argument, but right up there with some of them. The thing that is missing in his/her argument is that there should be some consideration for Pete Carroll's decision based on his current position. If you consider what Pete Carroll might know, determine that he might have drafted another at that pick that was a better fit, then make a logical argument as to why, then that really is the point of a message board, no?
All that was really said was that Frank Clark was drafted too high - which does not consider the things that Seattle might be dealing with in this draft or in the near future. Example of that being Indianapolis - they picked a wide receiver in the first round after signing Andre Johnson. Also have TY Hilton on the roster. Reason being that Andrew Luck is up soon for a massive contract, as well as Hilton up for a decent pay increase, and Johnson is a short term sign. It makes sense if you look at the overall team future, but the immediate reaction is to wonder why they picked a WR.

RR ended up being a historically terrible hire for all parties involved. Rich Rod is a good coach who made some bad decisions. Michigan is a great program who mailed in their support. Throw in the attrition from switching systems, a media feeding frenzy, some losing records, zero patience from the fans, an AD being hired who was a waste of good sperm, and it equals shitshow we all bore witness to.

I think of him like a Tim Wright type prospect. Wright is 6'4" 235 and ran a 4.65 40. Belichick likes to use a "move" TE like Wright.

You're right - I think it was Te'o who caught up to him on the "cloaking device catch" at UTL. Dude was quick and fun to watch break records though.

I vaguely remember him being compared to Megatron in preseason. Those comparisons were based on his 40 time being sub 4.4. I sadly bought into the hype (not thinking he'd actually be Megatron) and thought he'd have a great year. He turned out to be used a lot on slants where he all too often would drop the ball. His give-a-shit level of desire to win turned out to be pretty low. Maybe with some good coaching he can find a utility role in the NFL.

There was an interesting social experiment done on the sidewalks in a large city. Basically there were two actors, one male and one female, that simulated two events.
The first event was that the guy started shoving the woman around and yelling at her. The response was so overwhelming from the males around the two people the safety of the male actor was close to being at risk. Males responded immediately to the female being shoved and a couple of the males responding looked ready to strike the male actor. The male actor had to point out repeatedly that this was an experiment and was pointing to the hidden cameras. One male that responded to the shoving continued to argue and point at the actor - stating that he didn't care if it was an experiment that you never do that to a woman.
The second event was that the female actress started to shove and slap the male actor and yell at him. The response was quite different from the previous event. People were laughing and continued on their way. One male even joined in with the actress and slapped the male actor on the head. People typically looked, laughed, and kept about their business.
It was an interesting thought piece that spoke about how we as a culture do not have one view of violence. Violence against another person should never take place.
I hope that Frank can continue with counseling to find out why he responds the way he does, and fix that part of his behavior. From the post below, it looks like he has been going to counseling. The events of that night when detailed with the police report of things like Bando mentioned (kids running down the hall screaming he's killing her) it just gives me chills.

Nice little command in Everquest that used to show how long you had your account and how much time was spent on the current character. Just like it used to blow me away by how much time I actually spent there versus what I thought I spent, I would imagine if MGoBlog had a similar command I would be shocked as well.

"I feel that these are best suited for people who have experienced the world a bit."
As a 39 year old student taking online classes, I would agree with this statement. The students who are younger in my cohort, are most times the ones who fall behind and who I dread having in my group for projects.
My wife finished her degree online after the struggle to keep up with family, work, and the commute to and from campus became too much for her. She works in the field of her study and recently received a promotion at work.
|24 weeks 3 days ago||Taking out AQ High Point 16-14||
The teams with the worst records in last year's NIT were 17-15 West Virginia and 17-14 Georgetown. Currently Michigan is 13-11 with 6 games remaining. So 2-4 puts us at 15-15 for the season and then factoring in the B1G tournament, a 2-1 record would put us right at the threshold for the NIT. The biggest push at that point would be a quality win over an Ohio State or Maryland; making us a 17-16 team still not likely to get an NIT invite. 3+ wins is probably pretty close to what it would take if we go 2-4 the rest of the B1G season.
