Maybe a stretch to say one of the best - Kenpom has him as the #100 OR% and #161 DR%. Compare that to Mangok Mathiang from Louisville, who is the #38 OR% and #363 DR%. Think of a poor man's Ethan Happ, #39 OR% and #34 DR%.

Probably not a bad idea - Brooks draws an average of 5.4 fouls per 40 but also commits 4.5 per 40.

Yes it is - but the basketball "Championship" they won in 1939 was against Ohio State, so maybe they get some credit there. Anyways, they've been pretty much irrelevant for the better part of 80 years.

I agree. Team didn't want to wait for another start time for Illinois. We seem to like this noon game thing.

I could label the bracket below but I think you can guess which is Michigan offense and which is Michigan defense.
All you have to do to beat Michigan is to take the ball inside and watch them miss three pointers.

My frustration with Beilein is that he missed the tournament in his 8th year as head coach. It certainly looks like he will miss the tournament in his 10th year as head coach as well. That far in his tenure and he will have made the tournament once in the last three years.

I still point to the Iowa game as the game that changed the Big 10. We'd have been a 1 loss team with an overtime loss to OSU as our only loss, had we won at Iowa. OSU would have gone to the Big 10 championship game if that had happened. Had OSU won vs Wisconsin, then our only loss would have been to the Big 10 champion at home in overtime. We'd have gone to the playoffs in that scenario. Coulda shoulda woulda....

Loads slower than 81% of websites. A majority of visitors are educated. A majority of visitors use it during work. Ranked #5,943 by Alexa. Other sites for your interest -
Best Western - #4,147
State Farm - #5,001
MLive - #5,194
Avon - #5,357
It works as well as you would expect for a free to click, free to use app. The content is far and away better than any of the websites listed above. The user experience is not the best. This is however a capped market for mgoblog when you look at potential growth. So if investments are going to keeping the information in my hands, I'll put up with delays and its quirky disfunctionality.
I'm not going to stop using the mgoblog Amazon link and will most certainly not block ads. I do not like the official app compared to the HD version, but it won't stop me from visiting the website and using the app. I still want the content because I'm a whore.

Hello uninformed and ignorant poster - do yourself a favor. Google top 20 LOL players and find their images. Do you see a bunch of fatasses? I'll save you the time if you're too lazy to look for yourself - you won't. There is a pretty wide mix of athletic looking guys, pale faced skinny guys, and some that could stand to lose a few pounds. Your narrative of people that play video games are all fat and lazy is old and tiring. Generalizations will tend to do that though, which is how you've chosen to make your point in this thread. I think you could stand to take some time away from the keyboard and go outside and kick a ball around or something.

Very nice for this group of men. Seeing Jake Butt where he is makes me sad. I will be cheering for him to get healthy and play well.

Glad you posted this as well. I will be really curious to see who Harbaugh brings in. My guess is that he's known about this for a while and is considering his options.

He's been a HS coach since 1997 - as a recruiter he would probably do a pretty good job relating to HS kids.

Kevin Wilson is a genius at offense...
Kevin Wilson Era Offense
2016 – 67th
2015 – 19th
2014 – 75th
2013 – 16th
2012 – 54th
2011 – 85th
Average Offense – 53rd
Pre Kevin Wilson Era Offense
2010 – 68th
2009 – 87th
2008 – 84th
2007 – 61st
Average Offense – 75th
I just hope that Ohio State recruits a Pokemon to play QB for Wilson, because that was truly entertaining.
|10 weeks 1 day ago||I think most people forget||
I think most people forget that Chris Evans is a true freshman. He averaged 7.1 YPC on 80 carries, so a much smaller sample size than you would like, but still pretty damn good. Give him the rock 200 times next year and I'd be content with a 5 YPC average. I'm very much looking forward to watching him as a sophomore. Sure our offensive line will be greener next year, but it wasn't like they were really good this year either. I think he will be that game changer we need on offense.
McDoom and Crawford also got significant playtime this year. Both of those guys were true freshman. McDoom has gotten pretty good at getting behind the linebackers on slant routes and Crawford played a pretty big role in run game blocking. I expect that with the loss of Darboh and Chesson these guys will get more looks.
TE will be a rotation. Ian Bunting was playing behind one of the best tight ends to wear the Maize and Blue. When called upon in the Orange Bowl, he performed well. Bunting is a different breed of TE than Asiasi or Wheatley. When we went large packages - Asiasi and Wheatley saw the field a ton. Bunting is about 25-30 lbs lighter than Asiasi and Wheatley, but is the exact same frame as Butt. I think TE is a position I'm the least worried about in 2017.
As per the QB - I think Speight will have the job as his to lose. Most thought before the season that O'Korn was the frontrunner, but Speight showed something that earned him the job. He's not mobile on open field runs, but I remember him ducking traffic in the pocket many times. This pocket awareness started in about the fourth game this year and I found myself comfortable when he was back there. O'Korn looked like a deer in the headlights against Indiana. I truly believe that Speight began having injury issues in the Iowa game and it carried forward. I also think most people overlook the pocket awareness of a QB and it is unwise to do so. Our OL is going to be pretty green. We need a guy who can make the right decision in the pocket and I'm just guessing that isn't a RS freshman with no college experience. If it is, then 'In Harbaugh We Trust' and all, but I have my doubts that Peters will overtake Speight for the reasons I listed above.
We can also expect a lot of incoming freshman to get significant playtime. Harbaugh has shown that he isn't scared of burning redshirts. Somebody in the mix of the 2017 class (maybe two or three) is going to perform and will have us collectively high-fiving ourselves in the stands saying 'Harbaugh.'
I'm actually looking forward to next year to see how Michigan will perform under the same offensive coordinator for the third year in a row. It's been a while since we could say that. Pep Hamilton is at least equal to Jedd Fisch if not an upgrade. Don Brown is >>>> DJ Durkin. Go Blue!
