I was blown away and simultaneously had to wonder at the fact that this is a center built for college students.
|2 days 2 hours ago||My solution||
My solution is to get tickets in the student section. That way I get to stand all game.

Don't be a dick about labelling things OT or not, or arguing with each other about whether a certain post is OT or not, or otherwise insulting the poster's intelligence for posting an OT thread. Leave the housekeeping to the mods.

Even an old dog can learn new tricks! Hoping the best for him.
|1 week 1 hour ago||Heh. Whoops.||
For those of you confused, Michigan's recruiting department tweeted out a picture of a bunch of players Harbaugh has coached who made it into the NFL. Inspiring, right? Unfortunately, Ryan Shazier, who played for Ohio State, was also accidentally included in the graphic.
|1 week 2 days ago||Huh. Weird.||
I'm gonna reserve judgment on this whole thing until more info comes out.
|1 week 2 days ago||Quite good points, Brian||
What I glean from this, and from what people have said in the offseason and in the past, is that things have only as much importance as people are willing to attach to them- or, as Game of Thrones put so succintly, "Power resides where men believe it does."
Twitter wars, toughness, treating the media well, treating them contemptuously, "this way is right," "this way is wrong," whatever. People believe in the things they want to believe in.
And as a corollary. I re-read that DiNardo article from 2013, and...
That's a man choosing to believe what he wants.

How cool would that have been?
Anyway, best of luck to both of them. I love those guys.

Football players get it better in college than the pros sometimes.

|3 weeks 3 days ago||I appreciate that Harbaugh prefers the all-whites.||
But, respectfully, I believe he is completely wrong on this one.
There's nothing wrong with the all-whites. They're fine. But the maize pants are classic. The whites aren't a "throwback" to anything, despite what some people seem to think. They were an alternate for a little while in the 70s- that's not the same thing.
I'm fine with the whites for a while or every so often, but I don't want them to be permanent. It's maize and blue dammit, not 90% bleach with accents.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Still no maize away pants?||
I haz a sad.

"I GOT HIS ASS! I GOT HIS ASS! I GOT-"
(Lewis picks it)
It's the maniacal laughter afterwards that really gets me.

Jake Lloyd's dilemma is understandable. Imagine being that infamous that young.

And, uh, yes please.

How the game's evolved.
|5 weeks 57 min ago||Well||
I certainly hope the uniform changes involve bringing back the maize pants.

People aren't trying to defend Paterno the man, they're trying to defend the idea of Paterno. The "grand experiment", the idea that there was a right way to do things, the thought that people could be better than they were. It was a beautiful idea. Still is.
People want to hold on to that ideal. They believed in it for so long. It must still exist, otherwise what's the point?
In this, they've dissociated completely the man that enabled a child molester and the ideals he espoused. I don't hold with that, but I understand it.

|9 weeks 2 days ago||You're getting a lot of downvotes||
But you're essentially right. I remember two games into 2013 when MSU's defense had outscored their offense to that point and meanwhile Devin Gardner looked like a god and Michigan looked unstoppable.
We got our asses handed to us that year and they went on to win the Rose Bowl. That one hurt.
I'm with you, I'm not talking any shit until the game's over and done with.

FUCK YEAH! :`)
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Lot of snarky responses on here.||
Nobody's above anything. "Because Harbaugh" doesn't suddenly mean that if our D-line gets injured, our defense won't suffer, in the same way that "because Belein" doesn't suddenly mean that injuries and whatever else won't stop our basketball team from going to the Final Four.
|12 weeks 2 hours ago||Okay, this is what I needed.||
I was out of the loop for a bit there, and when I got back, Armageddon had apparently hit Baylor and I had no clue why. The guys on Reddit didn't want to explain to me what had happened.

I'm sure he's partially right. Harbaugh has Michigan firmly by the balls.
As in most scenarios, this can be either very sexy or very painful. Currently we're in the sexy stage.

Huh. Don't know how I feel about that.
