|6 days 7 min ago||Weird||
I put WOOOP in the German translator and it translated to FUCK YEAH. Craziest thing, right?
|1 week 4 days ago||I hate this whole saga.||
I mean, think about Joe Pa's idyllic view of what college athletics could be. Think about the Grand Experiment. That's a pretty beautiful idea. Why did the people in charge have to mess it up by being spineless shits?
|1 week 5 days ago||Well let's think.||
We went from the Fire Beilein Snowflake Thread five weeks ago, which a bunch of spoiled, reactionary shits upvoted to near-universal acclaim, to the John Beilein Appreciation Thread put forth not four weeks later. Yeah, I'd say that's a swing.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Seriously?||
The Fire Beilein Snowflake Thread took place not three weeks ago to universal upvotes.
Y'all are a fickle bunch. When you find something good, you gotta support it even through the rough times. God damn.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||*Alumnus||
C'mon man, you gotta show Braylon the Michigan Difference!
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Rather have Ohio State||
But if we're not considering them, then yeah, sure, as long as we don't hype the matchup to be "UNDER THE LIGHTS RELOADED, REMIXED AND REBOOTED".
|6 weeks 21 hours ago||Yeah, no.||
Hockey has a lot of built in damage control to prevent things from getting out of hand. The boards preventing the benches from emptying, the ref to player ratio, the fact that fighting on ice means you can't throw all your weight behind a punch, etc. Plus the whole hockey culture acceptance of it. In the NFL, it could just get nasty.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||Never count out Touchdown Tom!||
|6 weeks 6 days ago||I went abroad for awhile when the team was good||
and haven't really followed Michigan basketball since 2014-ish.
I must say, this thread is of quite a different tenor than when I left.
|7 weeks 2 days ago||That'd be so nice||
but I've never heard Tom say anything that would remotely indicate he's interested in coaching.
|9 weeks 23 hours ago||I feel like||
Smith is gonna have a really good NFL career. He's got that physique and style that pro teams like.
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Lots of negativity in this thread.||
Have any of you ever even met the guy? You speak of him as though he's the most vile, scummy piece of filth imaginable.
I'd expect that of others, but not here.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||Ah, well.||
He'll enjoy himself out there. Boston's a cool area.
|14 weeks 4 days ago||I'm okay with this thread, actually.||
Now that I know his name, I know never to listen to him again.
|15 weeks 1 day ago||Hm||
In 2012 there was a guy in the student section who started off okay and then went steadily further and further off the tracks until finally none of us could tell what he was playing anymore. Our section booed him out.
Iowa 2012 I think it was. I wonder if you could hear it on the broadcast.
|15 weeks 1 day ago||-_-||
|15 weeks 1 day ago||I'm in favor.||
Anyone have a good counterargument for me?
|15 weeks 1 day ago||You may be completely right||
and yet I still love him and will support him.
|15 weeks 1 day ago||No, let's not scrub them||
Let's instead compare records.
Harbaugh's first four years at Stanford: 4-8, 5-7, 8-5, 12-1.
Fleck's first four years at Western: 1-11, 8-5, 8-5, 13-0.
More time is probably needed, yes. But you can't deny what the man's done so far.
|16 weeks 3 days ago||Colorado is 10-2! It happened!||
Teams like Colorado are also why I don't like it when Brian opens his game preview with "[This team] is not good." You don't know shit at the beginning of the season.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Not a catch||
Great catch, but no catch.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Perfect analysis||
"Either he got it or he didn't"
|17 weeks 3 days ago||And 5-7 since the start of the millennium!||
|17 weeks 4 days ago||...really? REALLY?!||
C'mon. We can find better ways to prove Ohio State is a shitstain without calling Jim Tressel a cheating scum.
|17 weeks 4 days ago||Are people still using the "too small" argument?||
Desmond is 5'10 and about 188 pounds in his playing days. Wes Welker is 5'9 and 185. I don't recall him being too small.
|17 weeks 4 days ago||"The enemy"||
I quite enjoy this terminology and make a motion to refer to Ohio State in this manner henceforth.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||I'm a big weather apologist||
Yes, obviously Tom Brady wouldn't struggle as much in that type of weather, so it's not a "well of course he didn't do well, *nobody* could do well!" situation. But let's remember it was his first start in that weather. I don't think it's indicative of his abilities.
|18 weeks 3 days ago||...||
I feel very much as though I missed something.
|18 weeks 4 days ago||Let's get an honorable mention for Western Michigan||
They won their game and are now the only other undefeated team apart from Bama in FBS.
|18 weeks 4 days ago||Okay well...||
They'd better figure it out one way or another pretty soon. If he can't go, O'Korn will have needed the first-team reps in practice, and those make a huge difference.
