Which may seem oxymoronic, but is true. I play for the best team in the state of Michigan, and we travel to tournaments across the country.
It's a real thing, and I think in a decade or two it'll be a lot more mainstream. ESPN actually broadcasts some important tournaments now (well, I think ESPN2...but certainly not ESPN 8, the OCHO).
Saw the lady last weekend for the 4th, but still pretty excited to see her. Also excited for the frisbee.

Flying to dc from boulder to play in a frisbee tourney and see my gf!

So you're saying there's a chance all three end up with the 76ers? Hmm...

Bang for the people who are in Finland and thus have been up for 8 hours already! (I am, if that wasn't clear).

That they have the same first name, but different last names. Are they Chinese?

|8 weeks 2 days ago||Neighborhood is great.||
Tons of friends that live in the Columbia Heights area. 11th street is blowing up right now, really great restaurants and bars.
And I think a couple of the owners/founders are from Michigan.
|8 weeks 2 days ago||I don't know||
If he was really second on the depth chart, not sure playing time is really the issue here. He might actually be just trying to move closer to home.
That said, everybody wants to play and he'd be no exception. He'd have to sit a year anyway, yeah?
|8 weeks 4 days ago||KANGAROO BOXING CLUB||
IS THE BEST. The people who work there are awesome, they have great drink choices, and the food is nuts. One of my favorite bars/restaurants in DC, regardless of the Michigan connection. Recommended: gorgonzola bacon mac n cheese.

They are going to have a baloney sandwich eating draft combine contest instead.

I thought Battle was a PG? Could certainly be wrong.

Time to spend 8-12 hours studying for my Criminal Law final!
|10 weeks 2 days ago||It's changed, I think||
I took the BC test and Michigan sent me to Calc 3 (I took 285). And did fine. My BC class was awesome though, so take with a grain of salt.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Totally prof dependent||
I took 285, which was excellent (small class size, hard but not impossible). I think the 285/86 track is a bit easier than the 255/56 track because they aren't trying to weed out engineers.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Agreed on the D||
I think our D definitely has the potential to be elite, but all of that determination is going to come down on the D line. If we're getting pressure on the QB and can eat enough space that our LBs can shut down the run game up the middle, we're not gonna give up more than a TD or two per game.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||What would you prefer?||
10-2 with the two losses coming to OSU and MSU, or 8-4 with losses to lesser teams on the schedule (@Northwestern, @Rutgers, vs. Minnesota, vs. Utah for example)?
|10 weeks 5 days ago||Pleasant surprise||
I think Doyle will be a pleasant surprise for us coming off the bench. I could even see him and Donnal getting some time together if we want to go really big.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||Setting precedent||
Once it gets appealed, it's no longer really about resolving the specific case, it's about setting precedent for colleges across the country. The NLRB's decision will potentially change the way everywhere can work. Even if NW voted no, the NLRB would have to continue with the case.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||What the fuck||
Apparently I'm out of the loop, but that is horrifying
|11 weeks 1 day ago||Exactly.||
I totally agree with you. Pot (and this is coming from a non-smoker) is almost certainly less harmful to society than alcohol. A high person is much less likely to get in an accident or start a fight than a drunk person.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||It actually said||
It actually said they could have tested him even if he had been in street clothes, or had stayed in Ann Arbor. So the dressing didn't officially matter. Unofficially, who knows.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||Yep||
Only that one time! I swear!
I actually agree with you, though. Testing positive for pot does not equal serious substance abuse problem. I'd be surprised if anyone on the team didn't smoke pot, to be honest.
|11 weeks 1 day ago||What?||
I mean, not incredibly surprising he tested positive for pot, but that's a year-long ban?
That would certainly motivate me to go to the NBA. Unfortunate that this sort of forced his hand.
|11 weeks 4 days ago||Fair point||
How did their BTN games do, though?
I guess BTN has to compete at those slots, too, I just hate their coverage. Of course, if I were ESPN/ABC I'd definitely choose State v. Nebraska rather than us v. Rutgers, so that's fair.
