That would in term force other coaches to buy in and speak the same way.. Just like revenue sharing that state congress is trying to create for the student athletes will bridge the gap and make more coaches and the "institutions" to change the stance.. Just not enough capital for the change (at this time) and I wish recruits seeing through all that... Imagine if top recruits commit to Michigan for what JH say and you see how quick NIL ends up being revenue sharing quickly... Recruits need to see through this as well. Not just the coaches.. Again, I am all for student athletes to get more of the revenue pie but not the current form of NIL which is more or less pay for play (example, Miami and Texas A&M/aTm)....

i thought the same.. This is a pandora's box in the lack of response and responsibility that could result in player lawsuit now... If it was player safety, why not address all the injuries that Big Ten conference did not protect the players in-game with signal sharing that is happening legally or not. This is player safety as commish stated and they did nothing about it... This will go bad now..
Also, this should then force Big Ten to address the issue of the game signal exchanges between the 3 schools promptly and not slowly either case..
TBH. I always though the Big Ten was in Ohio State's bed... With so many things that OSU does and we just got Tattoogate and the weird officiating that always seem to benefit OSU... Just seem this is nothing surprising for me... The conference is going to lose its TV rights and could see it implode once Michigan consider and decisively leave (I just see this happening now)..

Also, they don't like his stance of revenue sharing with players... Be was the visionary that they were not and wished they were.. So to stop that, they had to do at all cost.. Accepting the fine could be viewed as an admission of guilt... I would not unless they show me how they determine and on what ground... Again, without NCAA concluding its investigation.. This is a fine based on what?
It is not a question of money, ratings, and tradition... I understand that.. But Ohio State needs "The Game" more than Michigan... Just like Michigan State needs a game with Michigan...
After the numbers of BS that those other ADs have done to Michigan.. The consistent discrepancies of bad and no calls, weird ref trends (like Ohio State would not get as many penalties call but their opponent just deviates) that could be easily resolve, signal concerns that we are dealing with now but they did not do until this situation, and influence of the mob that Big Ten conference was not impartial but cheered on to execute... I do not see any reason why Michigan would not look at other options..
I say this boldly and Ohio State fans could argue all they want... Ohio State need Michigan.. Michigan does not need Ohio State.. The TV ratings and everything validates that.. So when you are mistreated and abused by the conference, there is a point when Michigan say screw this and move on.. Then you see all this collapses and Michigan will not survive and thrive further more..
I have been thinking this way since the accusation and knowing Michigan will defend JH... Again, the commish is embarrassed and will need to recant before everything implodes... To get back at us, he would do something like that... I would not doubt it...
Look, we saw the lucky breaks of calls and no calls for Ohio State throughout the year.. You think they would not push this narrative and "persuade" the commish on many thing that could result in unfair competition.. They want us to lose at this point to validate their argument (though that is really not fair)... I believe we should keep going down the road for the 3 schools and expose them completely... This will ensure Big Ten plays fair and not do this BS again..
Did +1 on your point but I differ that the punishment need to fit the crime (so to speak) and michigan wants to be exonerated on the extreme propaganda and hit job that made a molehill into mount everest.. remember, the big 10 commish called this the biggest scandal of the big 10... that should tell the reputation damage Michigan endured.
The argument that the mob is trying to push is since Stallion had (been accused to) stole sign illegally and used it for JH.. Would that mean JH knew that? The obvious is no with data points (cuz it looks pretty sad and lame in terms of "operations".. Now, they are going to say: since the data is tainted (even if JH did not know it) and should still be punished. Of course that don't hold weight with Sportsmanship rule as many pointed out.. and that could apply to those 3 schools still.. that is why thr 3 schools are arguing it was through legal means.

There is.. if they could jump to connect jh with Connor (which we know that ncaa said there isn't) and suspend.. michigan could question his bias because the same rule should apply right now to the three schools. Again, legal. No cause for suspension. If cause, then it applies now to them too.. if he does this, lawsuit and he will be fired quickly for stupidity and more or less being inconsistent.

This was the same thought process and my many points to those Ohio State homers... They kept insisting there is a connection that pins JH (when there isn't).. The rule that Big Ten might use to suspend JH would then have to apply the same way for those accused schools... They could kept saying their schools are legal but that is the same point that Michigan is making... Again, not stating Connor action is right or not but that do not have consequence of which it can't apply to JH and should not (hence, rogue staffer)...
You just made the point that Michigan is making.. How is this different from Connor Stallion and his 3rd party "vast network" when comparing to these 3 schools.. Again, they could pin Stallion if he was on the sideline for CMU... But that does not roll up to JH (NCAA confirmed that)... What the 3 schools have done, it could greatly roll up..
So if they intend to punish JH on sportsmanship rule, this would then apply to those accusers in the school... Again, that is the mob's argument that it is different.. Is it really? That is the point and that it only shows that Tony is doing a witch hunt while not addressing 3 schools allegation and not suspending as prompting as well..
