To my surprise I just recently found out that Bullwinkle's in Miamisburg, OH (Dayton) is a big Michigan bar. Both bartenders yell out "Go Blue" when seeing my friend's UM shirt. Multiple customers also with Go Blue.
Donnal has been practicing as a big the entire time he's been at UM. Keep in mind that Beilein's 4 out offense only has 1 true big, and Pittsnogle was used as the 5 at WVU. If you look at this article from last March, Jordan Morgan specifically says that Donnal was giving him and Horford problems in practice:http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/03/michigan_freshman_mark_donnal.html
I definitely agree, I think the Red River Shootout got it right by keeping Texas and Oklahoma in the same division. Just look at how the Nebraska-Oklahoma rivalry ended when they went into seperate divisions of the Big 12.
It's kinda hard to hype up "The Game" of the year, only to have it happen again in 2 weeks. "The Game(s)" just doesn't have the same ring to it. Plus what happens if we beat OSU by 3 td's but Denard twists his ankle in celebration, and then we lose by a missed extra point in the Conf Champ game?
It seems from these diagrams that the cornerbacks are always responsible for a deep zone. Can I assume that our cornerbacks will typically not be in press coverage? I guess that could be a good thing for our relative inexperience at that position. Although it seems that most cornerbacks prefer playing tight press coverage.
