If only Zingermans would start baking their brownies on site again. Back in the 80s, they were incredible -- the best desserts in Ann Arbor. I especially loved how they would have a jar near the register containing the brownie edges that they would cut off. I used to buy bags of them (which might explain the freshman 15, the sophomore 15, etc.). The prepackaged brownies and pastries they sell today just aren't the same.

Cobo was regularly used as an ice arena in the late 80's or early 90's, as it was the home of Detroit's OHL hockey team known as the Detroit Ambassadors. I remember going there to see the Detrot team play the Oshawa Generals with Eric Lindros. Lindros, by the way, was a huge disappointment. I don't think I've ever seen a more lazy "superstar" in all of my years watching hockey. The guy took just about every shift off.
Title says it all. My 14-year-old son and I are making it down to Dallas. We have our game tickets, but I would love to take him to the alumni tailgate beforehand. If anyone has two tickets that they don't need/can't use, I'd appreciate a chance to buy them from you.
