Sitting at home, wishing the weekend was longer, drinking a delicious Fresh Squeezed IPA from Deschutes. Also wishing it was distributed here so it wasn't such a pain in the ass to get a hold of...
Pretty sure no one wanted him to take a snap in the first place. The only reason he did is because of a concussion the second string guy and the fact that the guy who would be third string is holding out hope for a redshirt.
Interesting dicussion on Reddit about College of Faith and another, similar school, University of Faith (creative right?). Sounds to me like someone decided the make the weakest semblance of a college/university, then have weak programs pay for a win and likely pocket the money.
What I like even more is that 5 other guys scored in the double digits. Competition caveats apply, but it's always nice to see lots of people contributing. That makes it just that much harder on opposing defenses.
I find it a little interesting that the top 5 contains 1 team from each of the big 5 conferences. Almost the same for the top 10, but the SEC has 3 and the ACC only 1.
Makes it seem like early thoughts are that the tops of the conferences are fairly even and that what will set them apart is depth (i.e. SEC with 8 teams in top 25, B1G with 4).
If you like thier Dragon's Milk, try and get a hold of Pilgrims Dole (Barleywine) or Beerhive (Trippel). Pilgrims Dole is what they use in competitions when they want to win awards, and Beerhive is just great, but it's being discontinued...
EA always licensed the team logos from the teams themselves, not the NCAA. Really I don't see anything other than the name and maybe some field logos changing. Otherwise it's going to be the same game.
Already down one Vandermills Totally Roasted cider, moving on to Hoppy Boch from New Belgium, then maybe Hog Heaven from Avery if I'm still feeling particularly spry
Founders Backwoods Bastard, Lagunitas Brown Shugga, and New Hollands Mad Hatter. Top it all off with some apple pie (cider, apple juice, sugar, cinnamon, and everclear) and I'm in for a good evening
I was listening to that broadcast too. My first thought was "cool, finally something he says makes sense." Then I continued listening and heard his conversation with Herbstreit and immediately retracted that thought. What a strange conversation that was
Ah, I didn't know that about USC. I did just see the article on ESPN stating that the reduction is through the 2014-15 school year, so that would mean the ARE applying to this recruiting cycle (these recruits incoming for the 2012-13 year). I wouldn't be surprised if OSU tries to get them pushed back, if for nothing more than planning purposes
Does anyone have information on the current scholarship situation at tsio? It seems to me that it may be possible that the scholarship reduction won't even be a factor this year depending on how many players are currently on scholarship/leaving/etc. To add to that, I'm sure the plan for most of the freshman to redshirt anyway, the bowl ban won't mean too much to them either. Not surprised that no one has flipped, and I won't be if no one does (cause let's be honest, expecting movement an hour after the news is a little silly)

Nick…
Other players of note:
Nick Bosa - #1 to the Cardinals
Dwayne Haskins - #10 to the Giants
Jawaan Taylor (Florida) - #17 to the Dolphins
Devin Bush - #21 to the Ravens
Noah Fant (Iowa) - #26 to the Raiders
Michael Deiter (Wisc) - #27 to the Texans
Dre'Mont Jones - #29 to the Patriots
Starting with a Double Bastard. Not sure where to go from there, I just got a beer order in today, so I have plenty of options.
Side note to OP, did you know New Holland is tweaking their Hatter recipe? I've been told the new one is very tasty.

I may have had a heart attack on the onside kick recovery. Is this real life? I sure hope so
30-21 for the good guys

Ichabod isn't that good. Pumking from Southern Tier or Fat Jack from Sam Adams are much better options
So it is, I'm gonna go ahead and blame the beer
Settling in to the new house, so busting out a KBS to celebrate.
Also, not enough points to post, but Jonas Mouton tore his ACL and is out for the season with the Chargers. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/360940427903385601/

"Miami allegations to wait as NCAA probes itself"
I'm sure there are plenty of folks who would love the NCAA to go "probe" themselves

5x Sheridan commitment? Ehhhhhhhh, I'll pass, though it would be a boon for QB depth
Mich 34 - Minn 7
Some good choices so far. I'm particularly fond of Founders Breakfast Stout, Pumpking, and Arrogant Bastard for this time of the year.
My choice for the evening will be either Tumbler from Sierra Nevada or Red Hoptober from New Belgium. (and of course by either, I mean both)

Gotta love the coaches trying to build OL depth
Still better than Jon Benjamin has a van. Why can that guy only be funny when he's not trying to be funny?
