Even in 1988, Kalamazoo wasn't that bad. At least kids back then can still walk around and play at night and not worry like we do now in the middle of suburbia. Yes, I understand that it's more of the state of mind then it is a change in the environment.
but if it's a current practice test.. then what's good does it do if it doesn't reflect the level of difficulty of the real test? The practice test looks like something that I could've probably passed in HS 20+ years ago after my AP calculus test.

Maybe I'll get use to it... but way too much spacing for me. All I see is a lot of white spaces and scrolling needed in order to read.
Check your mobile web browser. At least for android phones, most of the more popular browsers have a "desktop" viewing mode.
