Wisconsin starting to play like they did during that rough stretch they had at the beginning of the B1G season. If anything this game makes me question how far I'll have them go in my bracket.
Well at least we can feel good about the team exceeding expectations this year. But they've fallen back to Earth since that crazy first gauntlet. Stauskas has looked mortal, and in general the team has been too inconsistent. Hopefully they can get up for one more game this season and shoot the lights out against State. But unfortunately this will likely be a year that they don't get past the sweet 16. But that's ok, because everyone is coming back next year, plus they'll have Mitch. They should be a force next season.
You act like this is the first time Morgan has played this way. I love his dedication, and I'm not saying he's lazy. He's just really not that good. At the very least he's extremely inconsistent. Be honest and ask yourself if he would start for any other top 25 team.
This team should be fucking embarrassed with how they're playing. Getting blown out at Iowa I can understand. But not showing up at home, in front of your crowd, is an absolute disgrace. If this is the kind of effort they feel like giving today they might as well not come out of the locker room at half.
These past few games have highlighted how much we miss Mitch out there. And it's not only because he's a big body down low that would provide another offensive option and contribute some great D. We miss his energy badly. The team just looks so flat right now. I don't question their dedication or commitment, but they've looked so defeated on the court. It's such a stark contrast to the attitude they had during that first gauntlet. They need someone to spark the team.
Haha I forgot that this is MGoBlog and that there are actually intelligent posters on here. Osteosarcoma would certainly be the least likely, but some sort of cancer is possible. However, on further review he landed a lot less clean than I originally thought, so I think it was just the shear stresses he put on that bone.
I have a good picture of it. I'm not going to post it for obvious reasons, but basically his bone was sticking out of his leg. Hopefully it's not the sign of some sort of underlying malignancy like an osteosarcoma, because that thing just snapped.
This. A million times this. The heroball almost comeback at the end doesn't make up for a mediocre 35 minutes. Although it doesn't help when Jordan Morgan has cement hands.
This team has zero basketball intelligence. It's unbelievable. As much as I love Trey, he needs to stop with the heroball the entire game. It's nice that he pulled us close there, but for the love of god run the offense. They just cannot maintain a run either. It seems that the moment they find out what's working offensively, they immediately change their style again. Also, practice FTs. Please.
Wisconsin is doing to us in the second what we should have done to them in the first. Welp, at least we can get a 3 seed and lose in the Sweet Sixteen.

Win or lose, I never want those assholes from East Lansing to say that Michigan basketball is overly reliant on the three ball again.
That's literally the only reason MSU is winning this game.
More people need to read this comment.
If anyone got a gift, it's Wisconsin. If they don't come out of the bottom of their bracket it's an absolute choke.

And you know if we do
This.
And you know if we do play them tomorrow, and they win, their entire fanbase will act like the regular season didn't matter.
Unfortunately Wisconsin looks terrible right now, so it's starting to look like a UM/MSU final.

There has never been a more appropriate thread for this.
So what are the chances we end up a 4 seed now?

They did exactly what Wisconsin wanted them to this game. This one falls on JB and Trey.
Well this game wouldn't be complete without backboards
