He is a freshman point guard. His numbers are pedestrian, offensively and defensively. Michigan has 2 excellent point guards who can pressure Pritchard into mistakes when he's handling the ball and drive into the paint when he's defending.
|4 days 19 hours ago||Who will Izzo blame?||
His freshmen? The refs? Injuries? Place your bets now.
|4 days 19 hours ago||Is anybody seriously rooting for Izzo?||
Izzo is not a nice person; he is a bully and a whiner.

NCAA needs to use cameras on the baskets to avoid these kind of no calls. Allow refs to check video at next time out, just like 3's. Refs gave 4 points to Gonzaga at critical moment. NW had come back to within 3. Unforgivable!

Refs trying to give the game to Nova. Can Wisconsin deal with the calls?

Michigan will win because we remember. Never forget, never forgive.

No fighting; not with anyone, boys or girls, men or women. Just....walk.......away. Let the testerone flow on the field and in the weight room and nowhere else. Jourdan got involved in a fight and whether he was legally in the right or wrong, he will suffer. May his suffering be short and mild; may he gain wisdom in the process.

Forte and Solomon are not good enough to get minutes at Michigan, I believe.

You make a lot of pertinent observations regarding the 2016-17 bizzaro world we have experienced. You forgot the big one: a casino-owning real estate mogul turned reality TV Star with no public service experience becomes President. I say, why not Michigan? Walton and Irvin are probably the highest quality senior guard duo, offensively and defensively, in the country. (Yes, Irvin is a shooting guard/shooting forward.) Wilson has shown he can play defense against elite big men. It's going to be all about the foul situation-- avoiding them and making them. That will determine the close games we play.

Finally some good fortune for someone who has suffered from hard luck injuries. NYC is the best spot to land for a single guy beginning their career. I know, I was one. Met my wife while attending NYU Law, got my first legal job there and had a great time there.

There is no benefit to Michigan or Florida. The game is at JerryWorld and will have a great audience on Saturday. Why isn't ESPN asking Alabama and Florida State to move their game? Or even LSU and UCLA?
|10 weeks 6 days ago||So happy for Caris||
He had such bad luck with injuries, never had a chance to put up record numbers at Michigan. I hope his luck changes in the NBA and he gets to stay healthy for many years.

Sounds like a pyramid scheme mixed with cult-like religion to me. What a wonderful sponsor for a college football game! I wonder if Advocare will be recruiting future endorsers for their products?

How can only additional potential commits be included in a projection; shouldn't potential decommits also be included?
|14 weeks 1 day ago||Jabrill may fool the pundits and stay 1 more year to graduate||
Besides being a great football player and athlete, Jabrill has demonstrated his capacity to understand the big picture. After enduring (at a young age) the traumatic loss of his older brother and the imprisonment of his father, he has shown a developed understanding of the important things in life.
It is my opinion that he understands that securing his Michigan degree over the next year will better prepare him for the rest of his career and life than leaving for the NFL. He can obtain an insurance policy to make sure he is financially protected in the event of injury.
Jabrill's greatest undeveloped asset is his leadership potential. An early year in the NFL will not develop that potential as much as a year being the undeniable leader of a playoff-contending Michigan team.
Go Jabrill, Go Blue! Make more history!
|14 weeks 1 day ago||Another negative speculation post||
Just like the waste-of-time hand-wringing media posts, stories and broadcasts about Coach Harbaugh leaving Michigan for the NFL, here is another example of woe-is-me speculation because a player took an official visit to another school.
Isaiah for a long time had identified his leader as Michigan and that his verbal commitment announcement date would be either the Under Armour game in January or Signing Day in February. On December 5 (before the Georgia official visit), he moved up his announcement date to Christmas. Then on December 12 (after the visit) it was reported he moved up the announcement date to noon, this Friday, December 16.
This is not a pattern of behavior which indicates a change in his college preference. It is logical he wanted to take all his college-paid official visits before announcing his verbal commitment. End of story.
Fake "news" reports pervade our media.
|19 weeks 4 days ago||Stupid to say Jabrill doesn't have "ball skills"||
Jabrill has been flawlessly catching kickoffs, punts, passes and pitches; he has been flawlessly fielding hikes and handoffs, he has flawlessly executed zone/read ball handling, and he has flawlessly passed a lateral. Those are all "ball skills." He can play any non-line position on both sides of the ball plus special teams (except for kicking.)

Big 10 reviewed it in response to Dantony request and said a no call was proper by the replay official.

for this season. O'Connor is the same player now as he was last year when Danny O lauded him after beating OSU. Re-opening the QB starting job roughly translates as "we have no hope of turning this season around so we need to start try-outs for next year's squad." I feel bad for O'Connor as he is being made a scapegoat for the deficiencies of others.

Can't believe anyone would conclude Louisville has a chance for the Playoff after losing to Clemson. Over the Big 10, SEC, PAC 10 and Big 12 champions and a one loss Michigan, Ohio State or Wisconsin? How and why?
|24 weeks 4 days ago||Like Newsome, Jabrill knocked out in 2014 by low hit to leg||
If I remember correctly, Jabrill lost his first year due to a receiver going straight at his leg on the opposite side of the play's direction. Yes, it's been a part of football like it has been of boxing: "remember to protect yourself at all times."
|24 weeks 4 days ago||Such a great choice for both M and Emil||
For both the student and the school, it's nice to bring early closure to the recruitment phase. Early enrollment becomes an available option, as well as the possibility of becoming a leader in your Michigan class. It looks like Mr. Ekiyor will be able to play every position on the offensive line and the interior positions on the defensive line. It's going to be a pleasure to follow his progress.

|31 weeks 3 days ago||Stupid questions re players missing team picture||
Lots of good questions re fall camp could not be asked because some reporters decided to provoke Harbaugh. It's not a reporter's job to stifle a press conference by pursuing info on missing freshmen at the expense of info on those who are practicing. Great story on Mike Hirsch not pursued, for example.
