I'm quite fond of the Coen brothers, but The Big Lebowski felt pretty aimless/not relatable to me.

Who here wouldn't take Coach Taylor?? What he did with Matt Saracen was exceptional.

You play the cards you're dealt...
Not saying OSU would beat TCU or vice versa, but could OSU have done any better this season besides the VT game?
|1 year 35 weeks ago||Refs||
Almost every team in the NFL could point at a game and say the refs blew it for them. Yes, it's frustrating and it's no excuse for the refs to be incompetent at times, but it happens to everyone (although, fans always think it's their team that's special...).
In my case, the Jets lost a game to the Packers earlier this year because a ref decided to honor an ASSISTANT COACH'S timeout call (even though he wasn't even calling for a timeout nor are OC's authorized to call timeouts) after the Jet's had already scored a long, 4th down, tying touchdown during that play.

Every time I log onto MGoBlog this time of year, I do so with worrisome-hesitation.

With a little bit of Kentucky sprinkled.
|1 year 50 weeks ago||97.1||
I remember listening to 97.1 using a smartphone app on the way to Indy for the Michigan-Kentucky basketball game earlier this year.
I never would have considered that a Detroit sports radio station would seldomly bring up the MSU-UCONN game and UM-UK so that they could use 95% of the air time debating "if there is one rule in sports we would want to change today..."
Discussions like that are for slow days...

Do you guys think Michigan will have any others in the Top-100? Maybe besides Funchess?
|1 year 51 weeks ago||I mentioned that I already||
I mentioned that I already tried multiple online sources and that I apologize if the topic is inappropriate for this site. Additionally, I think many users here would agree that this website is more than a sports blog.

Do they have any studio apartments or 1 BR there?

Ventura Court would be within my distance range. Do you know the name of the place/address? Thanks!

Killing it with that avatar too! I'll let you know if I find anything good! I'm actually planning on getting a new puppy so I'm still between a few options.

Also, the NBA is the only league that has a team that fires a guy (George Karl) the year he wins Coach of the Year.
I think the difference between professional leagues is with only 5 players on the court at one time, and 12-15 player rosters, overall talent is more transparent than the NFL for example, which features 22 starters and many more players playing regularly. Increased transparency in talent and superstar talent probably creates greater expectations on a year to year basis--warranted or not.

|2 years 18 weeks ago||Oh, confirmation bias||
Oh, dat confirmation bias....Michigan lost to Penn State last year and then went to the Championship Game.
I sincerely hope State disappoints, but for most (if not all) teams in the field, you could cherry pick disappointing games on their schedule. Also, UNC is a quality team.
|2 years 18 weeks ago||Overall, yes||
Overall, yes....but that statement is a little off-base since you're talking about a team that has won 6 in a row and back in the playoff picture (granted, in the Eastern Conference).
|2 years 18 weeks ago||Question..||
I apologize if this is listed somewhere else, but does anyone have a short list of the games we could keep an eye on today that will affect our seeding?
|2 years 21 weeks ago||Of course||
Of course, my post is in reply to the mgobloggers ranking the Big Ten arenas.
|2 years 21 weeks ago||State Farm Center (Assembly Hall II)||
Don't forget, despite their lack of recent contention, Assembly Hall in Champaign (now State Farm Center) is still pretty damn loud and a fantastic arena to watch a basketball game. The Orange Krush is a firmly organized and noisy student section/campus organization.

|2 years 26 weeks ago||Yes, but||
Yes, he only made "one play" but playing corner isn't solely about pass deflections and interceptions. They only THREW at Sherman one other time, which basically means he potentially shut down his assigned receiver every other play during the game.

Maybe I missed this from somewhere else, but does anyone know a timeframe for those announcements? I am nowhere near a TV but I would like to pull up a stream on my computer when the time comes.
