Why doesn't the NCAA just encourage Sankey and the SEC to hold practices up North or out West. It's within the rules and gives every program the same freedom.

Well, he definitely is cut. But I think the height issue is being assessed incorrectly. Perhaps you don't know, or have simply forgotten, about the high gravitational field located under Ann Arbor. Consequently, all of our athletes lose an inch or two until thier bodies adjust to the extra force. It also contributes to the pudgery you notice in some of the players. Obviously, the S&C coach has over compensated with Watson at this point.

I see the advantages of the "all-seeing eye" conference, but I am just drawn to the Big 10,11,12,13,14 being split into the NW and SE divisions. It makes sense geographically and evens out the travel objections. To be honest I havn't thought about other ramifications except that osu gets a game each year in some fertile recruiting ground and UM doesn't.
Can we please just change the division names. At first I didn't mind but for some reason I just don't like them. And change the conference name too. It just feels rediculous that we have 14 teams in the Big 10. I get the brand reason, but it just doesnt work.
Then the Big PAC & the Big SEC begin negotiations to align into the PAC SEC, casting off the NCAA and governing themselves. Seeing opportunity to rule the world and win the Internet, the PAC SEC shuns the bowl system & sets up a 32 team playoff at the end of a 12 week season.
Fast forwarding to the year 2050, the PAC SEC realizes there is more money to be made breaking up into 10 team conferences and disbands, thus repeating the college football cycle
This was a hot topic on Seattle sports radio this week. Apparently, Leach had the OL at the PC after last week's embarrassment in the name of accountability. I don't know the specifics but I heard one of the OL ended up crying. On Sunday WSU held conditioning instead of practice. Wilson left mid-practice and cleaned out his locker.
Leach has been pretty tough this year, calling his team "walking dead" & saying they play like zombies.
It's a tough job to change a losing culture like WSU. Leach is definitely raising the bar & splitting the fan base.
I find it funny that Wilson said he's not a quitter but quit the team. I was thinking he should transfer to UM. We could use another receiver.
After hearing more about it, I think Leach should get the benefit of the doubt.
Is it just me or does JLS and Gerg seem like a match made in heaven? After watching that clip, I think someone needs a furry little stuffed Hog to cuddle with and serve as a motivational tool
and where is this standard that it is an acceptable tactic at HS and above written? You stated a personal preference for how to treat a handicapped boy. The truth of the matter is that if you want to win, you do what it takes. The coach did. So did Jim Abbott. Jim isn't crying about it. Those who have been blessed with such obstacles have to work harder and it pays off. Obviously that mentality set the tone for Jim's life.
The feminist point of view that teaches a person that it doesn't matter who wins or losesm its how you play the game is a load of garbage. Even at the Little League level, the goal includes winning. Why play if it doesn't.
Too many of our young men and women, boys and girls don't know what it means to work for success. How much more the handicapped among us. Giving them special treatment where it is not needed only handicaps them further.
My first & favorite memory of CB is when he hit the nd RB (Reggie Brooks?) and knocked him out. Of course, Brooks fell face first into the end zone for a TD, but he paid for it!
If I'm Hoke, I have a DVD presentation for the Big 10 first thing Monday morning which includes everything in the game that caused injury to a UM player, every personal foul, plus everything that shows the msu defense is looking to continue. I'm all for physical, but gholston should have ben ejected and suspended. Completely unacceptable!
Shouldn't he get an additional game for the arm bar that injured Lewan early in the game? I think that point needs to considered to cement the argument that his intent was to injure. Maybe that wasn't WG. Still, more evidence, as if any is needed.
