I think this is a very good team and can go a long way regardless of their seed or where they play. Michigan could be the Memphis of the NCAA hockey bracket; a team no one really wants to play until they really have to. |

I would like to see State play Michigan at Michigan Stadium and really no one else. It would almost guarantee a sell out and would make for a raucus crowd. Then maybe a week later have the Wings play Toronto. Leafs fans are diehard especially to watch them play the Wings and I don't think any other NHL team could bring them fans like they could. |

I understand where white_tiger is comming from but I agree with those who say Ohio State is the bigger rival. OSU like Michigan (except for last year) plays on the national stage in football, college sports biggest sport so that means a lot. Sparty was relevant this past year for the first time in over a decade so they have a ways to go while Michigan and Ohio State have been powerhouse programs for decades. Now who is the most annoying rival? For me that's Michigan State because when they wim their first football game in decade they practically have a parade in East Lansing. Their coach constantly runs off at the mouth about Michigan and talks trash with 20 year old players though the press. That doesn't make State a bigger rival, just a pathetic douche. This will cause people to freak but screw it. As much as I hate to say it and as much as I hate OSU I can at least respect Tressel and some of their players like Animal Jr. State has nothing to respect. I have no respect for Dantonio for his comments after getting shelled by Penn State (he was asked if the loss was embarrassing only to respond "going 3-9 would be embarrassing"). Thats middle school, thats State. So in terms of importance it's Ohio State but in annoyance it's the couch burning Mecca of State. 1.) OSU |

That was "Slap Shot" goonery at its finest. I think Comley was embarrassed at the thug behavior displayed by his team. The only sad part is they kicked Conboy out of the game. It would have been great to see Miller or Llewellyn rip his f'n head off in the handshake! |

I sat in the next section next to her over the entrance (section 4, row 4). When the student section chanted "backwards flag" the Miami guy who stole the seat next to me told her the flag was backwards. Her response was a stupid/cocky "I don't hear anything". I sit there all the time and the flag lady was easily one of the most annoying people ever. She waved it after ever Michigan goal, she waved it when Miami got a penalty, she waved it when I sneezed! |
