Per USA Today, Brady Hoke salary is 4.1 M, with some stupid automatic raise of 550 k for staying around. Really, Bonus for BCS games, Big Ten Championship, etc is great. Good base salary and bonus for production makes sense but a raise because you stay being the coach at Michigan is ridiculous while my tickets go up and the home games on every other season are just lousy.

Every coach ahead of Brady Hoke has won national championships or multiples leagues titles. I have no problem paying at that level but I really think you have to earn it.

RR would have a good chance on going 9-3 next year. Losing to MSU, Neb and OSU. The fan base will still be complaning about our rivalries. So it makes sense firing RR before been too successfull specially if you did not believe on RR philosophy,style.etc. Could DB fire RR with a 9-3 record? Not sure if DB has the cojones.

RR 1st recruiting class was mainly LC class thanks to our AD arrogance. We honor the offers by LC, right thing to do. RR focus on his offense during his 2nd class ( Tate, Denard,etc.) . RR 3rd class was already affected by the lack of support from our University. RR 3rd class recruited a bunch of guys on defense (see freshman starters). How many defense guys did LC left on the team? How many 4th and 5th seniors on this year's team are LC recruits?. How many seniors started on defense on the current team? We loss one LC guy on defense - Donovan Warren. Yes, the 1st year we had the potential for a good defense but we were thing on defense after the 2009 class.

The madness reflects our Athletic Dept. arrogance. We knew Lloyd Carr was retiring any year yet we had no succession plan. Now the AD CEO DB fires the president but has no succession plan and is willing to unprotect 25 % of the team (recruits) but we are MICHIGAN, mention MICHIGAN and they will come. Pure Arrogance. We have learned nothing from our neighbors from South Bend. DB can be a great marketer ( Big Chill/ ND night) but has a operational CEO the jury is out. Better find coach that unites the base or be careful what you ask because you will get it every 3/4 years.
