| 2 weeks 1 day ago | Of course it was, Mo. |
It was three of the best years of your life because you went to one of the best universities in the world for free and got paid good money to play B1G hoops. |

| 4 weeks 2 days ago | You can get every single student to sign... |
...and it won't make one damn bit of difference. As students during finals week, I would think you all would have much better things to do with your time. A good stadium seating cause would be to double the width of the aisles and have bench seating. They certainly can afford it, and it would make the game experience much more comfortable. Worried about largest attendance? Add a couple rows to the top. |
| 5 weeks 1 day ago | Dumb |
All unranked teams are not equal. If a team starts the preseason at the top of the "others receiving votes" (i.e. #26) and then goes 4-7, it is unreasonable to call that "zero difference" b/w preseason opinion and actual results, nor to see that as not being overrated. |

...revel in what will be an unbelievable year of Michigan Athletics. There's a good chance of a B1G title in every major sport for the first time since...maybe ever. (Well, especially hockey since there's never been a B1G, but you know what I mean.) |

"My favorite coverage was one named Rolex..." We didn't call it "Rolex," but we ran this coverage a lot. Use your mod powers and email me if you're interested. |

Gary Grant was better. |
| 6 weeks 3 days ago | I saw that... |
...and it is perhaps the dumbest look ahead I've ever read. So, we lose one player and bring in #12 recruiting class and are...not top 25. Sparty loses one player, brings in a nothing recruiting class and are...#3?!? Kentucky loses in the first round...of the NIT, and is preseason #1? Until those freshmen show up and play, not buying it. Their freshmen this year were supposed to reload, as they were preseason #3. Okay, Burke was POY, but Spike + Walton only < Burke, not <<<< Burke. And when you factor in our current freshmen making their biggest improvement, plus the overall effect of replacing the value of Burke, Vogrich, McLimans, Akunne, Person, and Bartlestein with Walton, Irvin, and Donnal, I just don't get how you drop from the 2nd best team in the nation to around #30. |

| 6 weeks 4 days ago | It's smh territory... |
...to think that a lot of fans were calling for his head...in his third year here, with no facilities and no tradition to relate to high school talent. It was so bad it got to a point that Dave Brandon was asked about it, to which he replied, "I'd have to go hire another John Beilein." All those impatient, ignorant jackholes should come out and admit they were dead wrong. And I do sincerely wish it were all. |
| 6 weeks 4 days ago | Yes |
Rankings are updated as games are played. Our fire-bombing of them dropped them from #1 to #2. All the rankings I listed are current. |
| 6 weeks 5 days ago | Show me the money! | |
| 6 weeks 6 days ago | I would go with Payne... |
...but I'm surprised no one suggested Gary Harris, or the frosh. center from Purdue. |
| 7 weeks 1 day ago | Brian, we have another one... |
Beilein, referring to team doing "Harlem Shake" on the bus: "We had dancing on the bus. It was wonderful." Doesn't fit the pattern, but might be funnier: "It’s tough to do the Harlem Shake sitting down." He might as well have said, "Pimpin' ain't easy." |
| 7 weeks 1 day ago | JR... |
...wins it like this b/c he gets his lead foot (in this case his right) planted in the ground, while Gibbs's lead foot (his left) is in the air at point of contact. Basically, JR just beat him to the punch really badly. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | What I'm most scared of... |
...is a team with quick guards who are good off the dribble. They've been causing us a lot of problems with our help defense. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would leave me to believe 'Ville is the toughest match-up for us. Does Syracuse have this as a strength? When Southerland sat with 4 fouls against 'Ville, 'Cuse went away. |
| 7 weeks 3 days ago | Give Beilein 4-5 days |
I like our chances of getting shots, just have to hit them. Here's some ideas from Izzo:

| 7 weeks 5 days ago | Pretty bad job by UCLA AD |
If you're going to get rid of Coach A, you'd better be 100% sure Coach B is a) better than Coach A and b) promised to take the job. FAIL If there's a University AD 101 class out there, I'd be willing to bet UCLA and UNM would be case studies on how not to hire/fire coaches. |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | You've gotta be super pissed... |
...if you're the UNM AD, though. The reason for the extension is to ward off the UCLAs of the world. In fact, if I were the AD, I would've started the extension talks with, "What would it take to keep you here instead of going to, say, UCLA?" |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | If I were a Spartan... |
...I'd be more embarrassed by my base's reaction to, and obsession with, "scUM" and at all the reprehensible behavior (dirty players, off-field incidents) than at any game results. Sparties always brag about how their fans are only MSU alums and their families. Yo, Sparty, there's a reason for that which goes beyond the "bandwagon" excuse you always fall back on. I've always found most Sparties to be good people--likeable and friendly...until it comes to Michigan, at which point some severe psychological issues rise to the surface. |
