"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."

There are 5 teams ahead of us for that and the Rangers, who are .5 back of us just traded for Hamels.

LSU is the only team in the state and sits in a hotbed of recruiting talent. The idea that he's a sellout is absurd. He then left, after winning a national title, to the Dolphins, a better job than LSU. When he realized hes a much better college coach he went to one of the crown jewel programs, Alabama. None of that is "selling out." This is MSU sour grapes.

As Shutdown Fullcast explained a few weeks ago. It's very honest in its advertising: it is hot and ready, but that doesn't mean they promise it tastes good nor cooked.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Definitely better.||

I cut the cord a few months ago and went with sling, HBO, and mlb.tv (because I'm in DC). Haven't missed a thing. I do think in going to have to get basic cable football season though.

You are aware Denard is a pro as well?

Denard probably gets to final stage for the Heisman without the coaching change. Add that to his personality and dedication to Michigan when he easily could have left and its hands down, Denard. If we're looking for a basketball comparison, his career most resembles Blanchard: Denard with Harbaugh is as equally a what if as Blanchard with Beilein.

I'm sure Urban Meyer thought that Saban and Smart wouldn't figure it out and is super worried. Urban's only dominated college football for the last decade or so. Thank god for Harbaugh, he's one of the few that can compete at Urban's level.

Turn him into a closer.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||As much as I like Jordan||
I hope we get 5 or 6 more years with Beilien and then replace him with Brad Stevens, whose NBA appetite might be full by then.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Yeah that's probably right||
Saban, who is from the Midwest and coached at MSU, only wants a top recruit to get back at Michigan.
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Sigh.||
Moeller being turned into Omlette by my phone seems oddly appropriate for some reason.

Yost is the best coach we had and the only one close is Crisler. Distance doesn't take away from their accomplishments.

Lloyd is Mack Brown, not Bo.

Yeah, sorry carr's not even top 3. Try Yost, Crisler, Schembechler. Omelet would have been ahead of him too had he not gotten drunk. Bo is our Mack Brown.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||someone making money from a mix tape doesn't make it ok to steal||
What you posted is not typical in any way. If people stealing their music helped them make more money, why wouldn't every artist just post their music for free and then ask for contributions to those who want to pay for it like Radiohead did?
|6 weeks 1 day ago||This exactly||
"I have stolen 5000 songs, are you trying to tell me that I should pay for them? With what money?" You can literally say that for any theft. If you want unlimited music, pay for Spotify, at least the artists are getting some kind of cut.

Sark wouldn't say that coaching at a private U is easier than a public one, I think. Plus, Sark's not going to say Roman was the brains behind the operation. Mora totally would.

The Federal Loan guarantee means that a person studying in the humanities who will have a difficult time finding a job (and I say that as a historian and has a humanities PhD) will get the same rate that an engineering or computer science student would get. In a real market, those with degrees who would result in jobs would have lower interest rates. Having interest rates based on your high school scores and intended major would also help drive more people into STEM.
Add in layer after layer of administration that's been built in over the last few decades (that money from tuition increases isn't going to professors, that's for sure) and you've got a perfect storm for a bubble.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||They certainly had longer attention spans too||
or are you just implying that because things were extemely bad in one regard in the past that it must mean that every change, in this case meeting times and lack of attention in adults, must therefore be good, as well? I'm only making that assumption because the OP was talking about attention spans and not saying something like, "boy, things sure were great in every way in the 1950s. We should go back to those times and adopt every single aspect of that period in time."

This exactly. How many unrestricted free agents are on that roster?

Though, hopefully, you know, not evil.

Give the man some credit. He restructured how they were doing business and then went to UM. The issue isn't that he doesn't know what he's doing with business, it's that he treated our AD as if it were Dominos.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Said by every fan of every team that loses a tight game||
Bad calls happen, it's part of the game. There have been plenty of times where Michigan is the beneficiary of a bad call.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Congrats, but it's weird that||
Congrats, but it's weird that you felt the need to post this on MgoBlog. Literally thousands of people are admitted to Michigan every year, yes Ross is selective, but so are a ton of other programs.

I used to think that way, being pretentious, then I went to Rice for Grad school and realized that the top 20% are the typical 80% at a top private u.

Replace the tonic in your gin and tonic with hard cider. Though my wife just brought home some Ardbeg and I think that switch will be happening fast.

It's not "support," it's just a recognition of basic economics. Harsh as it may be, the money isn't going to go there unless there's an economic imperative to do so. If you're going to pay more in labor there are a lot of other counties to choose from.

Maybe you can answer this, then. How can he afford to do this? I'm always interested in how people can do this and not have a job, etc. how does he pay for it? Family wealth?
