But I love Brian's analysis, and I couldn't care less about PFF. I call encroachment on PFF, 10 game penalty, 1st down Mgoblog.

Respects the coaches poll. End of story.
|3 weeks 14 hours ago||Agreed||
But an undefeated Houston team shouldn't be ranked over a 1-loss Michigan team, and sadly they would be after merely beating Oklahoma and sleepwalking the rest of the season. This is relevant if there are only a couple undefeated teams and Michigan beats OSU but the Big Ten gets edged out by Houston.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||The coach's poll||
Isn't as valid. Theirs will never be a real championship.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Our schedule||
is starting to look formidable. I think we'll be undefeated going to Ohio State, but we'll have quite the resume if so.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Probably||
Beat up from pushing hard today without any rest from a really intense camp. Sometimes getting a little time off during an injury can help glycogen levels later in the season for those guys when it counts. I'm optimistic.

Those who stay will struggle with Furman.

To this OP eventually. The negs are way up in that post already. High is at 97.

I sometimes forget to see my wife as the beautiful woman I married (who is a good person as well) and focus my love and attention on the kids. I don't know why, but I have an internal instinctive drive to love on my kids but a tendency to put expectations on my wife more than making her an object of my love.
So I'm trying to intentionally surprise her with more love and affection than I've been giving, physical or verbal attention that I give the kids, to show her that same tenderness and devotion. I think it can break us out of marriage ruts of complacency with each other. Perhaps she has dreams of love she's forgotten and I'd like to be the one to remind her. She deserves that much, just like my own kids do.
Best of luck to you Hatter, and God bless you.

I think you just had to wear tights and go. I, of course, obliged. Most of my Team Sports (teaching classes) were close.

I'm pretty sure Harbaugh called him Pratt in a press conference. One of the reporters asked if he has a first name, and Harbaugh said no, it's just Pratt.
|28 weeks 4 days ago||He's a great coach||
You can't have a championship game or Elite Eight season every year. The guy's a stud. There will be better years and worse. If we're regularly making the tournament, and at times making deep runs, that's pretty awesome. Dang, this has been an amazing decade for Michigan basketball. Michigan fans don't know what they have.

He means all time in his lifetime.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||It's okay buddy||
We were pretty hard on you. But I appreciate the effort. One of the mods will probably kindly move it to diaries for you.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||On your recommendation,||
I read the last paragraph. It was really good. Well-written.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||I took a breath every time I skimmed a paragraph||
And I almost passed out.
No seriously, great diary. I assume.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||It is interesting||
Junior year tape? Harbaugh's reputation has become so strong top tier programs are willing to take a chance on his hand-me-downs?
I also wonder if Swenson was a verge prospect because of numbers, package deal possibilities, and a falling stock from his senior year but one who really is still quite good. More Michigan's specific situation with him than his top potential.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||I feel like||
I feel like I don't even know what recruiting has given and taken. I'm in the Inception of NSDs. It's a commit within a commit. Who knows what is real.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||Would be surprising||
Would be very surprising if Swenson comes back to the fold now.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||Yeah but||
He relished it. I don't know man. Be happy for your kid, but you don't have to dance on Michigan's decommitment grave.
|34 weeks 4 days ago||Disagree||
Not his fault, but a little too much glee in his Stanford flip tweet to follow up with a job application to Michigan.
|34 weeks 5 days ago||Yeah||
You're not getting back to sleep. I tell myself.
|34 weeks 5 days ago||Actually,||
Those guys were all Mgoblog employees at one time.

You're beloved around here, but your modus operandi is passive-aggressively disrespecting posts you think are beneath you.
|36 weeks 2 days ago||Exactly||
For all his fanaticism, he's actually made a difference.
|36 weeks 5 days ago||I'm afraid||
He'd do the opposite.
|37 weeks 4 days ago||Social pressure||
Social pressure is what teaches people not to do things like this. It's a good thing to get some push-back. Helps define inappropriate behavior.
|38 weeks 4 days ago||Exactly||
Those who are complaining about our linebackers not being athletic enough or fast enough don't understand how the linebacker position works. Linebackers need to be smart and insanely violent. They need an uncanny ability to diagnose a play, know exactly what gap to fire, and kill, kill, kill. You can have a 5.5 40 linebacker who knows exactly the right place to put himself and he's much better than a 4.4 40 linebacker who runs into the wrong hole and out of the play. Most of what our linebackers have failed at is knowing where to be to dismantle the play before and as it develops.
