If the Akron players "want it more" that's also on the coaches. Hoke should spend less time talking to ESPN and more time coaching that weak defensive line. Mike DeBorges was in rare form with his play calls maybe because LLLLLoyd was in the house. After coaching Georgia in their bowl game he decided to visit the Sugar Bowl.
He will not be MVP. He also needs to shake the image of not ready for prime time when he pitches in the playoffs. And yes I know he's only had 2 chances in the postseason.
I agree. There is nothing wrong with a role player. We are not going to get 28 *5 recruits. It's beneficial that Drake is from Ann Arbor so he can host recruits and show them around town. I think this may be a case of don't let a Pioneer guy get away and have a potential great career at let's say a Northwestern and say damn how did we let this guy out of our back yard?
