MGoStore has them I think.

You know, usually I don't…

You know, usually I don't listen to what a Buckeye has to say about anything...but when it comes to cheating, I have to admit they are an expert witness.

I think the Big 10…

I think the Big 10 assertation is that advanced scouting of the opponents signals was against their very broad and nearly all encompassing "Sportsmanship" Rule. I mean really, doesn't almost any violation of the rules become a Sportsmanship issue?

The NCAA will call it Advanced Scouting while making no distinction between Stalions and his agents, as this was in their minds, a concerted effort on his part to make this happen.

I am super interested in all this "evidence" from Stadium security cams. What does it show? How clearly does it show it? We've heard a lot of talk about what teams have, but for some reason, no one has given us an example.

I live in Oklahoma, and I…

I live in Oklahoma, and I have often had conversations with my Oklahoma fan buddies about Riley's approach to football. It's clear to me that he doesn't value defense, and thinks he can always outscore his opponents. Nothing else explains his long history of retched defensive performances...poor tackling..poor run fit...etc.

Lincoln Riley teams never…

Lincoln Riley teams never play great defense...not even good defense. I wonder why???

I think Pettiti waffles…

I think Pettiti waffles until he sees the result of the Penn State game. If we win, he lets things ride. If we lose, he brings the hammer. We shall see.

Half time of Purdue/Nebraska…

Half time of Purdue/Nebraska, Feldman claims Michigan had 40 scouts lined up to video games.

Petersen says "Michigan crossed the line, but this is a gross over reaction. Let's concentrate on NIL abuse not this stuff"

I might go  too, and was…

I might go  too, and was just as ignorant of the rule. However, if the choice came down to watching Rutgers vs Ohio State or stay home, have a nice meal, watch multiple games, and take a nap, I might decide not to go. The game wouldn't be all that interesting really, and not much of a motivational tool.

If they weren't being payed…

If they weren't being payed by Stalions, I wonder how many of them them bothered to show up, even with a free ticket to the game. Will be interesting to find out.

Does paying for another…

Does paying for another persons entry into a football game for the purpose of recording signals make them "affiliated with the program"? I think it boils down to that, unless they have more dirt on Stalions.

It was in a Yahoo Sports article. I've never shared a link so bare with me. https://sports.yahoo.com/big-ten-opponents-were-aware-of-elaborate-scheme-and-michigan-assistant-at-center-of-it-144142698.html

1. They do have pictures of him standing next to Minter.

2. Only if you have time to adjust your defense accordingly. I honestly don't think this has had much of an impact if any. It is against NCAA rules though, so.....

3. Stopping sign stealing from being effective is easy. don't use signs. Teams that run up- tempo offenses that rarely substitute depend on sign usage the most.

I think this is going to come down to whether Stallions used the video footage from his friends himself, or if they did their own interpretation of the signs and then passed it to him. If Stallions used the footage, that will be bad for us and land us some kind of penalty. If he didn't, it's much more in the gray areas IMHO.

(Edit)Recording them offsite is illegal if done by staff. Sign stealing is not.

These day, the VAST majority of Vets that I know, leave the  military with some level of disability. Half of them on 100 percent. I have no idea if he was elegible for full retirement, it used to be 20 years for Non-Coms, not sure if different for Commissioned officers.

That yeti comment just got me, I laughed til i cried..and for a long period after that too. LOL!!!!

I think the point to the two…

I think the point to the two blocking penalties is that Michigan's took place on the LOS. I think Indiana's was "downfield" and therefore illegal. I'll have to review it to make sure.

This is the case here in…

This is the case here in Oklahoma as well. A neighbor had her French Bulldog in the front yard a few years back, when three Rots from across the street got loose. They mauled the poor Frenchy which ended up with a $2000 vet bill. Nothing was done by owner or the city. The bulldog never went out of his own yard while the Rots roamed the streets. The Rot owners were "shocked" because they had never gotten out before (mostly true) and didn't consider them dangerous.

I am not a country fan, but Brad Paisley/Dolly Parton's "When I get where I'm going". I'm not emo either, but for very personal reasons relating to my eldest daughter "Lua" by Bright Eyes.

I lived in the UP for a good few of my formative years (Kinross). I would seriously consider living there now if the Mrs wasn't a born and bred Okie with snow aversion syndrom. I vacation every year in Ontario's Quetico Provincial Park and love the outdoors and feel of the small community. As to statehood, not sure it's a good idea, but....shrug....

It is completely ignorant to schedule difficult teams in the nonconference schedule.

This makes me smile, for reasons totally unrelated to the game of football. Well done sir!

I am in Oklahoma, and have dealt with Irish Setter Rescue of North Texas. You can find them on Facebook, Glenna O'Dell runs the rescue. Great lady. She might have contacts in your area. There is also a national rescue through the Irish Setter Club of America. Finding Irish puppies in rescue is really pretty rare. You can at times find young setters, less than a year if you are patient, but I've seen no more than a handful of true puppies over the years. Males are more frequent than females and the females go pretty fast unless they are a bit older.

I know there are breeders in your area, though I'm not familiar with any of them. If luck is with you, they do from time to time, have an older dog that didn't get purchased that they will part with at a discounted rate (similar to the fee for rescue). Irish Setter puppies in my area go for upward of $1000. Way more than I ever wanted to pay, especially when there were rescues available.

I've owned 5 Irish Setters,…

I've owned 5 Irish Setters, and currently have one Irish and one English. I love the setter breeds. Irish are big, goofy life lovers. They need brushing, but really don't shed (the English sheds almost like a Labrador). Irish are great with kids, but not the best obedience dogs. All of mine have been good with almost anything you do, as long as they are included. One of them had a little anxiety/separation issue (all but one was a rescue situation). I also had one that had severe epilepsy that could not be effectively treated.

I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have about the breed.

No pass rush allowed the…

No pass rush allowed the crossing routes time to open up. Crossing routes aren't that difficult to throw and thus high percentage options. With Michigan's inability to get  pressure on Haskins and make him move off his spot, he picked us apart.

Don didn't have a good back up plan for this. Being good at Zone defense would have mitigated this, but that would have been impossible to  excel at in a week's time.

Ohio State's "struggles" over the course of the season, likely led the coaching staff to believe they could manage this game without changes.

The offense looked okay, and also appeared to have the ability to ramp up scoring a bit if need be. 42 points (assuming you make the extra point attempts) should have been enough to win this game.

Going forward, Michigan must find a way to either play better defense (get talented, interior pass rushers) or play keep up with offenses like this. I can GUARANTEE you that Ohio State could have gone tempo in this game and scored even more.

Talented interior pass rushers come at a premium. So, for this game (and times when Penn State has Barkley and McSorley level talent) Michigan better get ready to score in bunches if they don't have a Mo Hurst level guy ready to wreck havoc at DT.

I played in a veer-option…

I played in a veer-option offense for a long time. You are dead on in your analysis of the option problems. Great call. Poor execution. Bad spacing by QB/RB. QB should have attacked the inside leg of the defender forcing a commitment/always wrong situation. This should have gone for big yards. Thanks Coyote

If we can't score in the 40…

If we can't score in the 40's against this defense, we're in for a long, long, long, long season.

The goal line play action…

The goal line play action play isn't successful because Mason is too late turning his head around. If Mason gets out in the flat quickly and gets his head around to Patterson, this is an easy dumpoff TD to the fullback. Left side of the line is "run blocking" to hold LBs. Not designed for the QB to hold the ball for long. Patterson should throw this into the cheap seats if nothing is there. Easy read, for the QB, but he tried to "make a play" instead of be smart.

Yep...

Been that way for three years, when I traded off my Explorer Sport Trac. I'm a crusty, old retired dude now, and I have time to spend on tweaking the El Camino. A man needs a hobby....

Bob's track record here isn't as sterling as you might believe.  See...Doral Green-Beckham...see Dede Westbrook..see Dusty Dvoracek.

So, if he's in the NFL

And he gets banged up a bit, can he dodge the game because he must "protect his body for future seasons and earnings"?

It's " pining for the fjords"...It is a Norwegian Blue parrott after all.

I think one of the goals of these heavy formations was..

To see if Michigan would remove Peppers for Furbush against these kinds of formations...pretty nice strategy actually. Peppers does have a hard time dealing with linemen in tight areas...since he's giving up 100 pounds.

Elite high school shot generally gets over the 50' mark.

You actually had two 41-10

You actually had two 41-10 guesses on the score, because I was one of them. However, I picked that score after Don (though I was unaware of his) and so will officially withdraw mine. I will also make Don's donation to the Humane Society, if you will pick up the other.

Braden

That first video play of Braden/Cole is not on Braden. TE gets owned to the inside..which must not happen, and forces RB to move from A gap to backside. Blocks are all set up for TE side A gap run. TE cannot allow inside penetration on this play.

Can I get a Witness!!!!

Amen...preach on brother.

It is consistently happening.

It is consistently happening. It has been the hallmark of defensive schemes this entire year with few exceptions.

Again..on most occassions, if we have TE and a normal OL set up and a full back, we have seven blockers...defense generally puts 8 people in run support. If we use FB and OL..defense puts seven in the box. This is a sure sign that teams don't respect our passing game, and are not going to let us run the ball unless we demonstrate that we can beat them throwing 35 times a game.

I don't want Borges to be fired.

I do want Al to adapt. Realize that your offense has to fit your personell and that he has to make some concessions and perhaps do some things he doesn't want to do. Or, replace Gardner and start grooming Morris now. I don't think Gardner ever makes the transition to West Coast QB and will always tend to be turnover prone.
