This is the correct path. We get him working with our guys already. Let's get an experienced coach, to help develop our players, but also teach McPhee the full responsibilities of being fully in charge of a position group.

Trente has plenty of good tape out there and was a 5th/6th lineman on Joe Moore award winning line. I'd bet he impresses with his knowledge of NFL schemes and winds up drafted.

Seems like Stewart had a veer technique. Lined up in C gap but actually has B gap. With Barrett responsible for C. With the pulling guard, that really gave him space to get leverage on the Tackle. Moore likely had the same thing. So Grant and Graham have A's and the ends have B's.

This leaves the pulling guard with Both Mikey and Rod to block. Didn't work.

My favorite part of this play is that no one player made the play. Our Def is a group of dudes that all get to shine at some point and the fact that the game was sealed where The TEAM made the play is emblematic of the whole year.

Harbaugh saying that going through that ordeal was an unfair advantage for Michigan is possibly one of the best trolls of all time.

I agree with everything you said, except him returning. Between the OSU/Purdue/TCU games last year, as well as the over the shoulder catches he has on tape, he's put enough on to get drafted. C

ouple that with his speed, agility, explosiveness numbers he will show, there will be multiple NFL teams that would want that on their roster.

Nico Collins, Onwenu, Runyan, even DPJ. Add Don to the list of Mich players that pop a bit more in NFL than you'd expect based on their college production.

It's been weird where he was criticized early in his career for bouncing too much, where now he seems to try so hard to put his nose down, that he misses the bounces that he should be taking.

First off, we are so lucky to have a high character kid like the Don on the team. A talent like him, letting many 'outshine' him could be a disaster in the locker room. But he owns his role and is integral for the team.

At the same time, it just doesn't make sense that someone with his talent hasn't had the WOW moments that he had to end the 2022 season, pretty much at all this year. It feels like the coaches just don't know how to use him like a CMC, Kamara, Ekeler type. Or even just be a 20-30 snap WR/Slot just to give more opps to have ball in his hands.

I can see him going to the NFL just on potential, but can't see him coming back to be Robin again.
