Put me in the Beilen apolgizing category. It sure looked like he was saying "I told those guys to back off on those last few possessions, my bad", rather than, F-you for running up the score

Taste like Bud Light to me, but the extra kick makes it worth it.

Can't condone the white whine, but I also am feeling Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
|3 years 37 weeks ago||This is going to sound hugely||
This is going to sound hugely dickish, but Ace I believe the coach from Massillon is Jamey Palma not Jerry Palma. I know this is something that 99.999% of readers could give a sh** about, but I know the dude personally and he is a really good guy and great coach, I'm sure he would love to know about the mention.

I can't either, but who the hell wants a rematch of a horribly boring game? I can't argue LSU-ALA, but I would much rather see LSU-OSU, as I think most of the country would. If it's not LSU-OSU, I'm going to occupy the BCS!

That would make me go ape if I was a State fan, but seeing as how I am the opposite of that, it is a dream scenario!
|3 years 51 weeks ago||If you were a State fan||
If you were a State fan you would be pissed, however, it was the right call, and probably could have been a 15-yarder. Course, I'm sure you're not a State fan, so we're all good!

Some "little beers" 43 and heavy cream. don't knock it until you try it (and it will knock you on your ass if youf fuck with it too hard).

I can see the argument of, try the 2 now so you know what you have to do, but I'm watching the game and was thinking, "you're Cal, extend the game, keep your team into into it, and keep within 1 score." Obviously it worked out, and there are certainly times where I would go for the 2 in that situation, but in this one, kick it!
|4 years 6 days ago||Am I the only one that is||
Am I the only one that is nervous as shit about next week. I know we should be favored, but it feels so much like 2001 when OSU was average at best, and we shit the bed. Don't get me wrong, I love our chances, and I will be losing my voice screaming on Sat. from my living room, but Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, I just want it to be here!!!
|4 years 6 days ago||Great thought. I had to go||
Great thought. I had to go look that up, figured there was a WR in there somewhere in the last 20 years, but shit, it really does only go to QB's and RB's.
|4 years 6 days ago||3 of the top five lost, I||
3 of the top five lost, I can't remember crazier shit happening. I know I'm in the minority, but this is why I love the BCS, cause all these upsets are huge deal. If there was an 8 or 16 team playoff, a lot of the losses would be...oh well, that's okay, let's gear up for the playoff.
|4 years 6 days ago||Agreed, Wisky 2008 was nice,||
Agreed, Wisky 2008 was nice, but a fluke from a terrible team, this is a statement that we are back. We are back, we are back, we are back. We've got Hoke back.
|4 years 6 days ago||Totally embarrassing. Pull||
Totally embarrassing. Pull your starters, put in your 4th stringer, run off tackle 4 times in a row, fine, but take a knee 4 times in a row! That says, we feel so sorry for you, we don't want to embarrass you anymore. These are D1 athletes, on a full ride. Probably in the top 1% of football players in this country. I know it's Ole Miss and probably will never have the talent to get revenge, but boy would that burn my ass up!

I would have to see it again. Didn't seem as bad as some of the other calls.

|4 years 38 weeks ago||i think anyway we can improve||
i think anyway we can improve our own resume is important. There are going multiple bubble teams from many conferences, plus with a head to head win, you would think if it came down to us vs. clemson for one of the final spots we would have the edge. Plus, F-Duke!

Does he get anything from the FUPA society of america?
|4 years 39 weeks ago||9-9 in, by all consensus, one||
9-9 in, by all consensus, one of the toughest conferences, 20 wins, they're in in that scenario. I also think the committee would look very favorably at the last 12ish games and the close loses to very good teams.
|4 years 39 weeks ago||I think the reality is that||
I think the reality is that we are a bubble team, the national media just doesn't recognize it yet. As most others are saying, 2-1 in the final 3 plus 1 BTT win and we're likely in. 1-2 in the final three and it's hello NIT (Which is pretty respectable imo)
|4 years 42 weeks ago||I think we need quality over||
I think we need quality over quantity at this point. If a player the staff thinks highly of can fill an open schollie, then bring them on, but don't just fill the class to have it full. What good is a schollie spent on a player who most likely won't contribute for 4-5 years if it can be used on a player next year that POTENTIALLY can contribute in year 1 or 2. IMO, that is what it really comes down to, potential.
|4 years 42 weeks ago||I love all the fluff and am||
I love all the fluff and am starting to become a hoke-a-maniac, but it is all going to come down to W's and L's. Get Mich back to national power=hero, stumble through 3 or 4 mediocre seasons=goat. Let's all hope for the former.
|4 years 42 weeks ago||between the lines||
From Tom VH's cryptic messages combined with the material out of Oregon that he is verbally committed but wants to announce it on his own, I have serious doubts about him going Blue. I guess we can alway hope!
|4 years 42 weeks ago||It can't get much worse||
As a Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavs and Michigan fan, I have not had a whole lot to be excited about lately. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but things do seem headed in the right direction, how long will it take to get there, that is another question.
|4 years 42 weeks ago||teaser||
this better not be a teaser like the outside of the pants rub i had at the bar last nigh. Fisher would be a great get (retain?) for this staff and the team
|4 years 42 weeks ago||kickers||
I am right there in hoping with you, but that is it, just hope. Kickers are an odd breed, just look at the NFL, the elite of the elite end up going into a funk and getting cut or not re-signed only to sign on with another team and become elite again. Bottom line, kickers are about as sure thing as not getting herpes from a $20 hooker...you just never know.
|4 years 43 weeks ago||PT||
I can only hope that his PT goes down. Not that I want it to, he is one of my favorite wolverines, but if his PT is declining that means that we have more talent playing on the field, which ultimately the most important thing. I do hope that he still significantly contributes in some way.
|4 years 43 weeks ago||Advice||
I know that you are getting a lot of advice, but much of it seems to be inaccurate. I am a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer, (I know that makes it sound like I am bragging, but I assure you I am not, I just want to qualify my comments). It his highly unlikely that this is plantar fascitis as you would have significant pain when first standing up, not worsening pain with exercise. IMO the folks who are talking about your shoes and arches are the most likely correct. However, it is virtually impossible to tell without looking at your feet especially during gait. You could try 'gellin', but I really doubt that would be effective. An excellent first step would be to try a different pair of shoes. It blows because they are expensive, but it may cure your pain right away. If that does not work, you may need to look at custom orthotics but this would need to be evaluated by a certified orthotist and again expensive. If you are going to continue to attempt to play, a gradual warm up is essential. Stretching can help also, but recent studies have shown the warm up to be more important. Take this advice for what it's worth
