I am interning in Portland for an internship for a few weeks. I know that there are a ton of bars here but I want to go to the best ones while I'm here, any advice from th board?
I was not lucky enough to attend Michigan because of financial reasons, but I am holding out hope that grad school there is not out of reach. I love being a part of the Michigan fan base, a well educate and passionate group that treats each other like family (for the most part in my experiences). Being a Michigan man to me is how a person carries themselves and represents their school in a way that brings honor to the University of Michigan. I know that in an official sense I may never be a Michigan man but I will continue o live and breath Michigan sports and won't be afraid to give a 'go blue' to anyone in the Michigan family. This is the best fan base in the world and I hope that all Michigan fans act in a way that doesn't tarnish the Michigan fan base. I can't wait to finally get out in the business world (hopefully in Ann arbor) and share my passion for Michigan with the awesome fans that make up wolverine nation.
I am thinking of trying to get into the Ross school of business after I graduate from fhsu. Does anyone know any things I can do now to make my resume better and also how hard it is to get into school there?
I don't think the munchies are that big of a deal here, I smoke on a regular basis and maintain less than 7% body fat. It comes down to self control really. I know some people would say smoking pot is a lack of self control, but I really don't see any problem with it, especially factoring in that alcohol is widely considered much worse for you. If a school wants to test however then that is their right and the players should abide by the rules set forth by the program and accept consequences if they are caught.
I am the exact same way, people always ask 'why aren't you rooting for big ten teams like Ohio and msu'. Simple answer: I Can't!!!! I despise both of those teams to the extent I can't cheer for them. When Msu played Ohio I was going for Ohio since the big 10 championship was on the line.
Not to bring up bad memories but Ohio didn't start any seniors and were a solid team, I am surprised they aren't in the top 25 even with their coach leaving
I am going to try to head down to the Bama game and stay in Lubbock with my cousin then take in the tailgate early. I doubt I'll be able to afford a ticket but the atmosphere is going to be incredible down there and gameday is sure to be there so if I can't make the game I'm sure I'll still have a blast
I love the idea considering that I am another college student that wanted to go to UM but lack of finances held me back. I am considering grad school there and maybe it could be extended to something like that to. No matter if it was me or someone else that got an opportunity like this I am in full support of the idea and I hope we can make this happen because of the incredible experience it would be to attend UM.
I grew up in eastern Colorado and my whole family are Nebraska fans. Idont know if it was me wanting to be different or my cousins influence but I became a Michigan fan at about 10 years old and my passion for everything Michigan grows every year. Sad to say I don't get many Michigan hockey games being from the Midwest but I still keep up them. I am very proud to have hunwick wear the maize and blue and I am sad to see him moving on.
On a side note I was up in the Rockies for spring break snowboarding while decked out in my Michigan gear and heard well over 30 'go blues'. Wolverine nation is alive and well!
The ability of hoke and co to recruit is incredible, not only at Michigan but also when you look back at San Diego state and ball state. They turned two programs around while recruiting far inferior talent than they can now. What is obvious is that stars only matter up to a certain point, this staff knows exactly what they want and are getting these players and quickly, if they can make ball state a 1 loss team it's scary thinking about what Michigan could be in the next few years.
Burke, hardaway, Robinson, mcgary, and Morgan. I leave smot as the 6th man only because I would like to see more athleticism on the court, which was lacking this year and got exposed.
It's been beautiful in the Midwest (Kansas) but I heading home to Colorado for the mich game and will hopefully enjoy their second game from the slopes in keystone Colorado! Stay safe and go blue!!
I am excited o see denard's improvements this spring and in to next year, Michigan's offense is going to depend on him a lot, if he can get better passing it opens up room for him running as well as fitzy who is primed to have a huge year. I can't wait to see team 133 next year and it all starts with gettin better everyday this spring.
I know Ty said he wanted to wait to commit, but with the way this class has shaped out and the Juggernaut that is the 2013 class's offense, he may have no other choice than to hop on the bandwagon which is starting to look something like this.
Watching his junior highlights, I really liked the athleticism he showed. This kid is going to move up in the rankings and I trust Hoke & Co. 100% in what they see in this kid. Welcome to Wolverine Nation Mr. Conley.
With Shane Morris in the ears of recruits this weekend I have a very good feeling about this weekend and especcially Ty Isaac. Something Special is happening right now at Michigan!
