I'll buy HTTV whatever way you go. I enjoy the features more than the roster analysis and opponent previews. If one edition has a very different vibe and "breaks all the rules of HTTV" this is the year to do it.
Additionally the 2018 Olympics were in South Korea which depresses ratings because very little is live in prime time (except on the West Coast). Same thing will happen in 2020 (Tokyo) and 2022 (Beijing), but 2024 (Paris) and 2026 (Milan-Cortina) will bounce back before the huge gains in 2028 (LA) where the US media will be all about "the Olympics are back baby".
Calculating interest in the Olympics based purely on viewership without factoring influences such as time zone is folly.
Depending how much credit you want to give Gopher fans of their basketball knowledge of their incoming transfer's careers, they could be cheering Brock Stull's 1000th career point.
From my experience at NCAA tournaments in Spokane and Portland, there's no re-entry within a session. The NCAA is greedy and assuming they get a piece of concessions, they don't want people leaving, grabbing a bite, and coming back; or allowing multiple people use the same ticket/
It reminds me of Square One TV (because, math), but the kids are amazing actors. I actually make sure I record the new episodes to watch with my boys (4 and 2).
I recommended this book to the Seattle Public Library and now I'm #1 in line waiting for Brandon's Lasting Lessons to arrive in September at my local library.
There are three more copies available if you live in Seattle and place a hold now.
Fiji, South Africa, and New Zealand are the top three. England and Australia are close behind, but not quite as consistent. USA, Argentina, and Scotland are in the third tier of contenders.
USA won their first Sevens World Series cup final in London last month!
"No scoring on a charge. Baskets off a charge are waved off in every level of basketball except college."
I didn't know this was a thing and I've never seen it happen in a game. Ever. Is this a typo or am I misunderstanding something? Or has anyone else seen a charge and a basket on the same play.
ESPNU's schedule, broken down by day: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?page=10frozenfoursked
ESPN is only dedicating ESPNU for regional games. On Friday, there's only one game (of 4) they can't fit live. On Saturday, they have only 3 of 6 live (although it's arguable they could get BC-Alaska if they bumped up the start to closer to 12). Given that we're the 7:30 game, I totally agree with having the regional finals live instead of us. At least there will still be an HD feed, even if it's at 11:30 at night. Comcast agreed to stream ESPN360 last August, so at least we have that going for us.
I'll be in Portland, regardless of who's playing there. I bought tickets a year ago and won the lottery selection. Granted I'll be in the upper deck, but I'll be there. I'll definitely be rooting for Michigan to play there, but not in Washington's bracket. The Rose Garden is gonna be a mad house of Husky fans.

I'm a fan of Torvik's 7-way tie that doesn't require Nebraska or Northwestern to do anything funky:

4 down, 27 to go.
Of all Queen songs to end the UAF intro, I was not expecting the Highlander theme, though it works well for rock-ballad skate-out music.

After Saturday, we could use some Muppets fun. Besides, we probably won't see them again this season until we win a banner.
I like the idea of a Michgan-centered post every day that we treat as a posbang and just tag everyone with M as their first flair. I just went through and upvoted 15-20 people on the Harbaugh Forever post: https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/8jpbiz/michigan_ad_wants_jim_harb…
I donated in the name of GT, figuring that it would elicit more than that from the rest of the Michigan Money Cannon. The MMC did not disappoint.

Time for a 2013 National Championship Rematch, though I'd gladly take Jacksonville St. if they pulled something off.
But thank you for clearing out the Gators. I look forward to U[sic]GA crashing out 0-2 in the WCWS next week.

A bizzare blowout by Michigan. 78-58
My son knows how to smile for the camera and laugh when I sing HTTV. Some day he'll shout "Cue the Muppets" after a big win.
